I got the megazord as a kid and was so disappointed that they couldn’t fold like in the show. My first experience finding our power rangers toys are worse before I knew sentai even existed 😭

shinkenger is more detail and more accurate then the us version it gose to show you that quality is way better than quantity

if i look at the Megazord beside of its coloring & articulation.. i think Samurai's MZ looks a more propotional... But for its individual zord, Shinkenger absolutely better

Why didn’t they just sent the japanese toys here and call it a day? Does american sellers think this is to japanese or something? Sometime i think i was robbed as a kid.

The Shikenger ones makes me want to get one but actually aside from the lack of shield I for some reason like the Samurai Megazord more in appearance despite liking every single one of the Shikenger ones better separately.

Sentai wins simply becuase they actually do what folding zords should do; fold.

I loved Shinkenger, but I could never get the Shinkenger mechs. So I had to settle with getting all of the Samurai toys aside from three that I could never find: the scorpion, the miniature shrimp, and the lantern that turned into a spider.

In my opinion, only the American turtle zord is better than the Japanese version, as it’s silver, compared to the Japanese version’s light gray

The Sentai version wins, no doubt. The only excuse the Megazord has in beating it, is the fact in the chest of the Shinkenger, there is lack of an actual good red to black contrast, but that’s literally the only flaw compared to the Megazord toy with about… lets say a few… hundred.

Shinkenger wins it easily on gimmicks and general looks, Samurai wins it on the mecha mode proportions...except for a couple of the auxiliary critters. • The squid is way too small!! The general downsizing really bit Bandai America's nuts off here: you can't properly form the weapon mode for the combination with the Claw Battlezord, and to make matters more annoying, the base of the Battlewing Cannon is entirely too short for the Claw Armor Megazord to reach. • They butchered Kyouryuumaru. Instead of a retool of the Spin Sword, they made a brand new mold itty bitty critter called the Sharkzord. All for the sake of giving the Megazord a more appropriately sized sword, which defeats the point entirely. • Because of some questionable design decisions for the first five zords, you can't attach one pair of the Tiger's legs to the Lion (Megazord chest); instead, they have to go onto the legs. One Tiger leg on the Bear, one on the Dragon. Despite the complete inaccuracy, I don't mind this. Don't miss that goofy drill bra one bit. • Swordfish's body becomes a whole new left arm where you stick the sword in after detaching the head/Megazord helmet. Probably to compensate for being unable to stick it in Swordfish's mouth. Meanwhile, the modified dorsal fin doesn't split open, and there's a completely new tailfin that's a solid piece but can rotate around to be positioned sideways. Despite all that, I enjoyed the Samurai critters; was never able to get the Bullzord, though. But y'know what I enjoyed more from this era of Bandai America's Power Rangers toys? The zords from Dinocharge!!

Samurai has better proportions at the hips and thighs, so it’s… something…

The Sentai ones are far superior: bigger, more functionality, more detailed, stronger coloring, and a much sturdier plastic (you can hear the difference when fiddling with the pieces).

Individual zord wise it has to go with the sentai version but honestly with the full megazord I honestly feel like samurai does it a bit better because of the waist and upper legs So how I see it if you want to display the zords go with shinkenger, if you wanna display the megazord go with samurai

Can't believe the one on the right is the one I would've got had I gotten obsessed with getting a samurai megazord back when I was younger. Big flop tbh

I remember getting the American version as a kid. Back then it was awesome but the exact moment I realized how inaccurate it was to the show made me kinda irritated. And I’m very glad I didn’t get any other zords so I didn’t have to be disappointed by how inaccurate those are

One thing power ranger toys had over sentai, is they didn't have weak clips that broke after 3 transformations.

These are the only ones i own both versions of. Since i own the full Samurai Ha-o i wanted at the time to complete the Gigazord but quickly decided against it and got a used complete in box Kyoretsu-o instead (and finally complete Engine-o G12).

How much is the difference on price, cause the japanese is better but how much extra does the extra accuracy cost?
