All he had to do was make the pupils a touch bigger to correct the small offset. Tigers and cats in general dialate their pupils constantly. Would've been absolutely fine looking. That was a great tatoo anyways, way better than the other. Other tiger looks like the whiskers were melting off it

Gary's tattoo was hands down the best of the two. Stop at the top of the head? Seriously? Clearly, it's a tiger with his head lowered coming at you. 100% wrong Mr. Nunez. Though spider webby the whiskers are, still look fantastic. That drifting eyeball was COMPLETELY distracting and the nose was just off way too much for me. Gary had the chicken dinner for sure.

@@allennewborn932 The whiskers look objectively bad due to such a thick outline and the number of strands at the ends not matching the number at the beginning where the follicle is-- that's where both the electrified and spidery critiques came from. If he matched the number at the nose to the points, then it wouldn't look like a spider web at the end. If he didn't outline it as thickly, it wouldn't have the illusion like they were literally shining. The ears definitely had the wrong anatomical perspective to be tiger ears, even if the ears were meant to be pinned back in the attack position. The top of the tiger making it looked rounded out was because the dimension and shading of the shoulders coupled with the way he decided to cut it off really messed with the overall composition. It's not that the shoulders were up because the head was obviously lowered to the stalking position, but because the shade value of the shoulders as well as how they were cut off really messed with the composition. That's what they were saying about that. It's 100% better than what you or I could do, I agree that it looks good, but there were so many problems compared to the lazy-eye that can be mitigated by mirroring the highlights to the other eye. It's the fact that Josh had one problem and Gary had several more: the shoulders' presence and style messing with the composition, the whiskers being electric looking and spidery, the ears being weird. That's a 1v3 problem description and Gary got booted because his faults outweighed Josh's

But I guess it was the right decision overall because you have criticized every detail of the tattoo. It’s just god damn I can’t take that lazy eye tiger serious, it’s just one of those problems that you can’t help to look at, while Gary’s had its problems but I didn’t feel it was so in face with them.

The eyes on his tiger were phenomenal for me personally and I didn't really notice the whiskers at all. Plus I liked that you could see the tigers shoulder blades as if it was stalking towards you.

Honestly I think his tiger was better overall, Josh missed the shape of the head and the likeness of the eyes, but oh :/
