My nephew David loved Coco and remember me and Poco loco was his favorite songs. He would get excited during some parts of the movie. We watched it all the time when I used to babysit him. He was diagnosed with leukemia at the end of December 2018. He fought so strong he always had a smile on his face. In August of 2019 he did beat it but two months later his cancer came back. I would watch him in the hospital and we would watch Coco or trolls. He fought his hardest. We got a call in April that he didn't have much time left so we all went over and said our goodbyes. I was holding his hand like we used to in the hospital and he was just sleeping. I told him how much I love him and how much I'm gonna miss him. It felt like he didn't want me to leave and let go of his hand. On may 5th he passed away I love you David you will forever be my baby, best friend, my super boy. 🌞5-9-17 🌙5-5-20

yesterday the dean of student support at my school passed away. i started school there this year but she made me feel so welcomed and most of all, wanted. she was so selfless and never failed to make a student feel wanted, important, and intelligent. she was there so help us no matter what but now that she is gone it’s difficult to continue with school. i regret not going to her more often for help, or even just to chat.

i didn’t realize how hard loosing somebody really is until it happened. there’s probably a million comments like this but, death is extremely hard. especially if you’re constantly reminded of that person, or you cant stop thinking of it. it feels like not only have you just lost that person, but theres just a void where that person was in your heart. but trust me whoever is dealing or has dealt with or is going through anything, they know how you feel and they would do anything to make you feel better. dont be sad that they are gone but be happy for how long they where here. dont be sad about what happened or why it did, but just appreciate them. thank you for coming to my ted talk

My oldest cousin Jake was born with muscular dystrophy, and he passed at age 40. We both were obsessed with Harry Potter, and my mother and I were planning a very special surprise for his birthday at Universal Studios, because he never got to experience it with us, only with his mother and father, and when a week before the event. We got a call that he passed away in his sleep, and I was completely heart broken. The last time I got to see him was through a facetime call. my grandma had alzheimer’s and when i saw this movie i cried so hard and everyone was so cpnfused why, she sadly passed away a year ago but today i worked with dementia patients to honor her and when i got off work i could not stop crying. i was still in the building and one of my patients came and asked why i was crying and i say nothing and she hugged me and said to me that her mother always sang you are my sunshine to her when she was sad so she sang it so me and when u came home i could not stop crying cuz that’s exactly what my grandma sang to me. sorry i just had to rant

I had a day I got bullied in school..,everyone ganged up on me...and one of my besties backstabbed me a framed me for hurting her feelings..(she told them that I said I hated her and then proceeded to give her a slap) That day my bestie was the only person who cared..she was too scared to stand up for me...when I got home I considered cutting because my friend had framed me loads and mwde some people hate me...Hut I got a text from my bestie ..saying..."I know your going through a lot but I'll help you get through it...I know you miss your brother (I don't feel comfortable saying what happened to my brother (he isn't dead))but I'm here for you always...just know I'll be with you and you can always call on me for help!" After that message I told myself it will be ok...a while after I was diagnosed wi anxiety and got a therapist.... But things started to get worse...on the last day of school we had to do group projects (we had to try and work together to try and create a good sounding resturaunt) the girl who framed and backstabbed me was in my group also with some other girls but not my bestie...everyone in the group wanted my ideas because they said they were very smart until my "friend" (the backstabber) said "YOU ALWAYS CARE ONLY ABOUT YOURSELF YOU WONT LISTEN TO MR YOU OBVIOUSLY HATE ME," I Replied with "but when we asked you if you had some ideas you said no" she started crying...I got home crying since she hated me and because school was cancelled because of corona so I wouldn't be able to see my bestie...and her mum doesn't have any apps to FaceTime or video call and I miss her so bad...

I used to have a dog names Kingswood. He was a border collie mixed with a flat coated retriver, and we got him when i was 5-6 years old. My cousin is 19 and a couple years ago doctors found out he had a brain tumor. He stopped fighting it today, 5/10/2021. We weren’t very close, but I loved him very much. It's around this season of Fall when I lost my neighbor's cat.. we were so close. I remember it all started when I was younger. My family was having a yard sale, and I was excited to see a little black cat laying in the grass in our yard. Our neighbor quickly came over and apologized, as her cat was an outdoor cat, and wandered around. I was completely fine with it. Days went by, and I would observe the black cat from afar. One day, I coaxed her over from her driveway she was sitting in. She warmed up to me so quickly, and always purred so loudly around me. As time went on, we got closer. Whenever I would leave home, she'd sit in our empty driveway, watching me go. When I came back, she ran from the neighbor's house to come see me, and meowing loudly when I came out. I remember feeding her treats eventually, and then cans of food. At certain points I would lay down on the ground next to her, and nap with her. During the winter time we layed down in the sunlight and it was so warm, to the point I took my winter coat off. She taught me that. I'd watch and tag along with her when she would hunt. I watched her catch food, and discover moles moving beneath the ground. At night, if I called her, she'd race across the street to come see me, and always was there for me whenever I was sad, as if she knew something was really wrong. She never failed to comfort me. Eventually, she decided to start coming into our house, and our neighbors were absolutely fine with it. We'd nap together, she'd sleep on my bed close to me. She loved to sit on one of my pink fuzzy pillows, right infront of our heater during the winter. I have a very clear memory of her laying under our Christmas tree, watching us all from under it. However.. last year, around this time, I got the news she'd been hit by a car. She didn't make it, and I wasn't able to see her, for my Dad and my neighbor's husband made the discovery, and it was.. a mess. I cried, and everything flooded back. Now, I visit the site where she was hit, as that's the closest thing I have to a grave. It struck me so hard because for so long she'd try to come to me, but because of covid, and not knowing enough about animal to human transmition, I had to turn her down so many times until she stopped coming. She started gaining weight by then. Eventually, however, I turned back to her, but I regret not being there.. rest in peace, Nestle. I love you.

I've been listening to this song for the past hour and I can't stop crying. My grandmother died almost 3 years ago and I still feel like a piece of my heart is gone and I have this pain in my heart every-time I think of her. She was the best and to be honest, I never really hang out with her much which is what pains me most. She died because of cancer at the age 64 and I remember everyday we would go visit her but she was always arguing with my dad about medicine so I never really had a heart to heart conversation with her. When i was younger we would always go shopping together and she would spoil me so much! She also made amazing food and my favourite food that she would always make me is pastitsio. Sad part is that I will never get to taste that again ever in my whole entire life. Ever since everything has gotten rougher and harder, I finally understand how the real world is. Which is terrible and cruel. Without her I haven't felt that I have accomplished anything or fulfilled my dreams, I guess there will always be a void in me.

I can't help but remember my childhood cat, he passed away in 2020 and you never realize how much of an impact they have on your life until they're gone, I had had him since I was 2, he would be 15 right now but he's not. I cried after I watched the movie. I just start crying thinking of a women who lost her father, music, and happiness, after listening to this song she starts smiling. It’s just so beautiful. This song used to make me emotional but now I can’t even listen to it without crying. It was one of my grandfathers favorites, and he adored disney. He had disney stuff all around his house, we always watched the movies, and we went to disney world more time than I can count. He passed away a few weeks ago, and I still can’t get over the loss of my best friend. Thank you for this.
