As mentioned in the end card, this video is my resolution of 2020 since I’ve been fond of music animations and PVs since the first year I discovered RU-vid in 2007 and always thought creating one was always out of my league since I couldn’t draw back then.
Flash forward 14 years and I’m able to draw something that looks comprehensible to the general public, albeit nothing that would get me accepted into a high school art class. So, I thought I could try to make a music video. It was supposed to be a private video, but I’m betting people in the Pop’n Music community would love to have more content based on the franchise, so I made it public.
Will I do more Pop’n Music animatics? Yeah, pretty sure I will. I already have plans to do another animatic, regardless of reception. And hopefully, it doesn’t take half a year to finish like this one did. But there are some hurdles to overcome like transitioning to an actual graphic design software people use instead of the one I’ve been complacent on for a decade. But, it will be interesting.
The only thing I can say that would stop me from doing it is lack of interest, but doing this video was fun even after I got a bit tired of listening to this song.
