“This is where they fought the battle of Gettysburg. Fifty thousand men died right here on this field, fighting the same fight that we are still fighting among ourselves today. This green field right here, painted red, bubbling with the blood of young boys. Smoke and hot lead pouring right through their bodies. Listen to their souls, men. ‘I killed my brother with malice in my heart. Hatred destroyed my family.’ You listen, and you take a lesson from the dead. If we don't come together right now on this hallowed ground, we too will be destroyed, just like they were. I don't care if you like each other of not, but you will respect each other. And maybe... I don't know, maybe we'll learn to play this game like men.”
As a white Caucasian male growing up during the 60’s and 70’s, I recall the epic words of Dr. King; ”a person should not be judged by the color of their skin, but by their character.” I know I paraphrased his quote, but my, my do we need a modern day prophet such as Dr. King today! May God bless our land!!!
I try recommending this song all the time. Nobody will ever listen to it through which defeats the purpose, especially if it is before the 4:23 mark. SMH. I need new people in my life.
The rest of the songs are available just not this one, it makes no sense because Trevor Rabin's other works are available but not this one. I think this is one of his best pieces of music.
They need to play this when Joe Thornton of the Sharks win it all. He's been waiting all his career to get his hands on Lord Stanley's Cup. Edit: 2020 was a bust season made worse from the Coronavirus, but 2021 will be a comeback year. #SanJoseSharks2021StanleyCupChampions
3:23 "Ladies and Gentlemen THE STANLEY CUP." 3:55 "The great fans in Washington DC have waited over 40 years for this moment." (Looped back to 3:20) 3:30 "Alex Ovechkin it's your honor come on up." 6:08 Alex Ovechkin hoists Stanley Cup 6:48 Nick Backstrom hoists the cup next with Ovechkin by his side.
No, that would mean that Disney would have to portray white and black as equals. We can't have that anymore. Black lives matter, after all. Not all lives
Kendall Jackson It's very beautiful. I've been searching all over for that song, but I can't seem to find it, only in this mix. When I Shazam it, it says, "Remember The Titans"
Edwill Fourie: This is the original. That's why you can't find it elsewhere. "Titan Spirit" by soundtrack composer Trevor Rabin, for the movie Remember the Titans. There probably is a somewhat different cut used in the movie, and there is a lot more score music in the movie, but to my knowledge, this ~7 minute medley is all that has been released.
Was introduced to this film by my English teacher in 2003, never knew why but it makes sense why she did. To show we're all equal people. This film, even though it strays away from the actual truth of the real story (wasn't as good), was such a good storytelling
Everytime I here the middle part and the ending. It brings me back to 3rd grade little league football. 😢 miss those days even though that was only in 2011 or 12 but still about 10 years ago. I miss that team. Miss my brothers my friends. We all went our separate ways after 3rd grade cause I moved. And some of them moved. Some day I hope we can get together as a team again and play one more time on that field that we grew up on.😢😢😢 to remember the good old days just for kicks and grins. I'm only 20 so it wasn't super long ago but still memorable.
Every time I hear this song it makes me think of earlier childhood memories. And also when my parents were in high school. My dad playing football. My mom being a cheerleader. Makes my heart warm.
Before every Vikings game, I would watch this movie and even on Dec 17th 2022 when we were down by 33 points going into the 3rd qtr, I would listen to music from the movie. Somehow it fired up my Vikings to win 39-36 in OT in the greatest comeback in NFL History. Remember The Vikings! Skol Vikings
@@Ultramonk27 Time for Patrick Kane and the boys to bring home that Men's Hockey Gold and for Christian Pulisic and the boys to win the World Cup..... OK that last one's unrealistic, LOL.
Everywhere we go (Everywhere we go) People wanna know (People wanna know) Who we are (Who we are) So we tell'em (So we tell'em) We are the Titans (We are the Titans) The mighty mighty Titans (The mighty mighty Titans)
This is the best music compilation of the movie I have ever heard! Does anyone know if it’s on Spotify? Haven’t been able to find it in my own searches.
And then proceeded to divide the country for eight consecutive years by endlessly shaming white people for sins of their ancestors, all the while making excuses for violent criminals like Michael Brown. Remember the Titans was about bringing people of different races together. Barrack Obama did the exact opposite.
@@LoudPet636 I’m very well aware. He was an imperfect man who was brought up to glorify imperialism. He also saved the world from Nazi domination, thereby stopping Hitler from murdering 150,000,000 ethnic Slavs via planned starvation policies. I’ll allow you to decide which is more important.
@@LoudPet636 False. Britain’s blockade starved Germany of oil imports, thus restricting the Nazis’ ability to utilize tanks and forcing them to invade the Soviet Union in June of 1941 in a desperate effort to take the oil in the Caucuses. Germany would have had a strong chance at conquering the Soviet Union if not for Britain’s blockade.
When You watch your best friend On the feild litteraly Take a Tackle for you And that tackle puts him out for the whole season... so you dress up as him in his uniform and number... and the next possible game you get to play them again you litterally beat the shit out of that team all fucking night to avenge your friends name.
