RIP Bob Wall, another part of my childhood gone. Mom and I would have Bruce Lee movie marathons frequently over the years and watch every one she had together. RIP Mom, she passed on a love for movies and reading that has enriched my life so much. This is an amazing interview, so good, I watched it twice, back to back. Bob's so well-spoken and interesting, he had my full attention the entire time. My sympathies to all of his loved ones, friends, and family. We're blessed to have him captured on film along with Bruce and Chuck.
Bob Wall is a very interesting and forthright person about his relationship with Bruce Lee and I appreciate him talking about it. Thanks Bob that's very cool!
@@axelstone3131no? Everyone knows Wall was even qualified to be a priest or saint. He was as honest as they come. He was saintly. Kung Fu Genius says Wall was saintly, so please don't diss Saint Bob Wall. Also, stop telling people Wall was a drug dealer. The only thing he dealt Bruce was creatine and Korean Ginseng! Thank you
@@TheFiestyhick eh? The fuck you talking about? When did I say he was a drug dealer? Are you fucking stupid? Nobody had a high opinion of Bob wall. He talked shit about Bruce for years after he passed. He was only later of he decided it was good to be associated with him like they all did. Like Joe Lewis making seminar money off his name even though they fell out and stopped talking since he went to challenge him. Alex from kfg and John little both talk about how he got in trouble for tax evasion of something regarding dodgy business practices.. seriously, who the fuck are you and what the fuck are you talking about? Saintly? What? Huh? What are you even talking about? Talking absolutely bollocks.
Awesome guy, loved Bob, Bruce, Chuck, Bolo etc. I am 63 and saw all if these movies in the cinema. They were way ahead of their time and I loved them. I then got the movies when they came out on tape, then again on DVD. I would be embarrassed to admit how many times I have watched Fist of Fury, The Big Boss, and Enter the Dragon! These movies never grow old for me, I will watch them again and again until the day I die.
Great respect to Bob Wall to speak so candidly and affectionately about Bruce and what actually happened on the set of The Way of the Dragon , great stuff !
RIP Bruce Lee, my idol.😭 Bob, you are such a humble and modest human being. And one of the few fortunate to make body contact with The Legend. God bless you forever. Onion San, thank you very much for airing this video. God bless you forever.
One of the best interviews Keeping and defending Bruce Lees Name! On top of explaining his personality and insight and how much of a great person he was 🔥🔥🔥🙏
“What we really need to be thankful for is that we had him”… Bob on Bruce. He would likely say the same. I am quite sure most never got an airport visit send off. Many thanks on inspiring so many of us to both of these passed legends.
I met Bob Wall at the ONLY Bruce Lee convention in Burbank. An amazing experience. So many of Bruce Lee's friends and MMA were there. Meeting Bob was a bonus. A very nice fellow indeed.
Indeed he is! I met him a one to the Comic Con shows. He is an interesting person and loves talking about Bruce Lee! When and how were you introduced to Bruce Lee? Are you a fan, Collector or both?
Uhh not exactly the truth ace. Wall had nothing to do with Lee filming some shots in the Roman Colliseum. Wall NEVER had to tell Lee how to coreograph fight scenes either. Wall loves the limelight, because no one even knows who the fuck he is.
I saw Bruce in person when I was living in DC in 1968 do his 20 minute demonstration at a Jhoon Rhee tournament. This is a great interview with Bob Wall and I think he knew Bruce very well. My feeling is he was a little scared of Bruce and for what ever reason he didn’t really like Bob. Joe Lewis and Bob were doing projects together and maybe their egos collided somewhat. Joe had no love for Bruce until he realized how special he was and became a student of Bruce. Keep in mind that both of them had huge egos. I think Bob is an honest person and tells the truth when he speaks of Bruce. I am not sure if he is still living. I am now 75 years old and have studied Bruce since I saw him in 1968 and have most of his books and video documentaries along with his five movies. One thing for sure, Bruce was a true legend.

Thanks Bob for the great honest insights. In the movies, I thot you were one of greatest badass killer, every time you entered the scene. Real brute..Then, this interview show you just a brilliant, nice and down to earth guy...Fantastic piece of acting, real classic. Bruce is a legend, you and Chuck too...He also helped brought many martial artists to the big screen, became known and respected throughout the world.
One of the most iconic bad guys in cinema history O'Hara..RIP Bob Wall.a true Martial Arts master and karate genius..I could listen to members stories of the Bruce Lee circle all day!
Keep in mind that Bob's great "reaction" to those punches was what 'sold' them. It took great reflexes and timing to be able to take that 'hit' and sell the punch at just the right moment.
I grew up watching Bruce Lee, I was picked on and bullied as a kid and he inspired me to train and I've been at it most of my life and I'm 56 now. I will always respect Bruce Lee who I believe is the father of MMA as he was the first to mix styles. I also have a huge respect for you Mr. Wall for standing up for Bruce, when Steven Seagal was running his mouth, you put him in his place, he is the worst kind of person. Thank you sir for your memorable rolls in Bruce's movies, your contribution to the Martial Arts and your loyalty to your good friend Bruce Lee.
Bruce tried to make his fights look as real as possible and he did a very good job you don't see it much today. Bruce lee was absolutely fantastic and with his talent in making fights look real Bob wall and Chuck Norris made Bruce look as good as he was great to hear Bob talking about the great man and Bob was also a great martial artists
I hope that people in the next millennium will still be remembering and talking about Bruce Lee. So much knowledge gets lost in the passages of time, but I truly hope that Bruce's memory will live until there's nothing left.
Bob uses the word :"genius" concerning Bruce Lee. Yet, Bob is a genius in his encyclopedic recounting of his wonderful memories. I never knew how great Bob Wall was and is; I could listen to him for hours and I hope he blesses us with more and more.
I will never forget I didn’t pass algebra one at Bishop Newman high school in South Philly so we had to go to Hanneman school for girls in Center City. One of my rock head classmates came up to me and said Bruce Lee died!! I replied, who is Bruce Lee?? As He walked away. A couple of months later my best friend Nicky made me go to a Bruce Lee film festival the theater. mostly blacks. Screaming and cheering and making funny comments “Damn that nigga” ain’t getting up” It was like being at a Beatles concert. I could never forget plus the action on the screen. I had never seen such a presence a fiery meteor in front of my eyes. I was hooked, but I fell in love after he was gone it was all I had or we had Left to cherish, the four movies he made! I could only imagine what was to come. Oh well, thank you Bruce Lee ❤️Brandon r.i.p.
This is one thing every Bruce Lee haters must watch. This Bob Wall testimony is so rich and precise. He said it all: the world must just realize how precious Bruce Lee was and be happy that this man lived and succeeded to share his vision. So thank you, Bruce but also, thank you Bob Wall, for your honesty, humility, cleverness, kindness, strength and inspiration.
Yeah. Good luck with that. Especially Quentin Tarrantino, who deliberately misrepresented Bruce in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" and claims that Bruce Lee is overrated. What a punk! I am a fellow Bruce Lee and Bob Wall fan and "Enter the Dragon" is the movie that made me a Bruce Lee fan, instantly at age 13!... I have had my share of Bruce Lee haters and smack-talkers. They are just lazy, stupid idiots that never bothered to get to know him through his movies and research, like I have!
@@TheSoleProprietor The beggining of your comment gave me the impression that you were against my opinion about Bruce Lee but finally, you are not. So, thank you.
wow! this is a fantastic interview Mr, Bob Wall" you are a real and beautiful human being to have shared your most fond memories of Bruce with us, thank you from my heart for taking your time to make this video, Bruce will always be my idol as the greatest martial artist in the world and as a beautiful human being who has shown us all that anything can be possible for us to do in this life if we just take the time to practice and believe in ourself,*
Bob Wall. your an awesome person and I love every word you spoke!! Your details describing your relationship with Bruce makes me happy that you really knew him so well and smart to just take whatever he enlightened you with and roll with it, Im sure he just loved you so miuch also, but the funny part is you both are hanging out in heaven and still several lifetimes ahead of everyone!! I love this priceless video that is treasure thanks to you!!
Bruce Lee was a huge reason I went into martial arts and it gave me years of enjoyment and fitness. Later when I learned of his dealings with people and philosophy he then became my childhood hero. His teaching Americans at a time when almost none would, his work ethic were all exemplary to me. RIP to the whole cast of ETD, Jim Kelly and Bob Wall as well.
This is indeed a very thorough depiction of Bruce's talent mentioned by Bob in this video. Bruce Lee was a sensational talent equipped with the required qualities to succeed in the movie industry. An extremely intelligent and wise person ahead of his years as a human being. Despite his early passing on, we should be envious of him for his phenomenal capabilities. Bruce Lee is outstanding due to his strong perception.
This is one of the most interesting interviews I have heard so far. Bob gave some really good incite as to the kind of person Bruce Lee really was. I just can't seem to get enough! Bruce was beyond awesome. As Bob said ... a genius in so many ways. I wish I had that kind of energy!
The side kick of Bruce Lee, decent received man, Robert Wall.☯️🐉🐲🐲🐉☯️💥🦵👨🏻🦱💨💨💨👨🏻🦱😱Bruce Lee the best and legend❣️The martialarts master. King of martialartist.👑🤴🏻👊💪🦵💪👊👌✌️💪👊👍👏🙏
What a brilliant interview. So many happy memories watching Bruce's movies as a boy. We'd go and watch Enter the Dragon every day when it was in the cinema - knew every line in the movie. Still my hero now that I'm an old man!
Damn, Bob Wall looks more like a country singer than a Martial artists. But I tell u, Mr. Wall is one of the best Martial artists fighter of all time. If Bruce choose u to be with him in the film, u have to be one of the expert, cuz Bruce will definitely not pick someone from a typical martial art school. Bob wall his truly an expert and excellent Martial artist..
Bob Wall tears it up. Nails every point perfectly---after his death match offer, he's a hero 😂 tough times with Raymond Chow 😢 Today, NO ONE (Martial Artist) moves the way Bruce did. His continuity of movement was unmatched. Bruce became the first, "Sky Walker" when his character avenged his sister by kicking Bob Walls character in Enter The Dragon. Bruce loved his friends and they love him---Thanks Bob Wall--rest in peace.
Hey Mr. BOB WALL, I love you man. Because I was 8 years old when Bruce Lee died. I was in denial for 10 years. But everything you said, I always felt at the age of 8 years old. Also Bob Wall, I hated your Character in Lee's Movies. But to get to know the real Bob Wall, I can honestly say, I love you man.
Lol this guy wasn’t a friend of Bruce he’s talked a lot of shit and said a lot of disrespectful things about Bruce over the years. Look online and you’ll find it.
You are super lucky to know Bruce lee and was in his movies. I was born 10 years too late, but I’ve been to his gravesite. It was a beautiful site, more like magical site because when you got close to his gravesite, it was like wow I finally met Bruce Lee
Imdiyu Bruce have killed Brad Pitt with few kicks ! This knows Tarrantula but make money with lies. 🤔🤦🏻♂️😆⤵️ Look at this, one kick and Brad go never back to Jennifer ! Love Brad Pitt. WOW! hands down, the best, most informative interview about Bruce i have ever seen. I have been a fan since 1974. Bob Wall worked with him on 3 films, and gave a great insight in to Bruce, and what is his best film - Way of the Dragon.
You obviously don’t know much about Bob wall. He’s talked a lot of shit about Bruce over the years, much like Chuck Norris, look online and you find it.
This is what people need to know about Bruce Lee, he was accomplished at so many things, and that is what made his films change Martial arts film's forever. Bob Walsh was such a great bad guy. Thanks for this great Interview
When I first saw Bob Wall on film I was sold. I wondered where Bruce got him from? I knew he was tough in real life. But what he put into that character was amazing.
I've always liked Bob Wall because when I first saw him on screen in Return of the Dragon", he reminded me of my G.I Joe toy with the kung-fu grip and lifelike hair. LOL!
I applaud the modesty of this man, he is honest, he has integrity and he was a part of a great time in martial arts. Too bad I cannot say the same about Norris.
Bruce...Chuck...and Bob. Best friends. Great interview with Bob Wall, Karate grandmaster. BTW. Bruce's lightning moves were not done via CGI. He really was that fast.
Those who came after Bruce Lee who opened the door for all, didn't do anything spectacular for anyone to say you're one of a kind since. Bruce raised the bar so high others just seem so average....
