my mother was widowed at 42 yrs old with 9 children she cried and grieved for 5 yrs our lives were shattered this young girl will need major comfort from the lord
Sorry for your lost. I lost my Dad at 28 he was buried on my 28th birthday my mother was 48 and she grived for 5 years also. I got married at 30 years old and he wasn't there to give me away.
We can’t question and can never understand why this tragic event happened but as believers we know that they are seated at the feet of Jesus Christ now singing and praising God
My daddy was one of the most faithful men I’ve ever known. Even he said & believed God understands our questions. Maybe not to question God. But He knows we, as simple minded humans, are going to ask “why”. I lost Daddy very suddenly & unexpectedly in 2017. Then my mom to cancer in 2020. Then my beautiful 22 day old grandson in 2023. Trust me, I asked why. Why do my kids have to go through this heart wrenching trial. I had no answers for them. As strong as I feel my faith is I still asked why. I believe God understands that question.
Amber was one of my favorite singers in the world from the time. I was probably about 13 and because of knowing a lot of the same people in the industry in our 20s we became very good friends. But, I confess I really didn’t know that much about Nathan. When you’re married to someone who is part of one of the most well-known families in all of Christian music, who did movies who rejected American Idol even though they wanted her, well, most people wouldn’t have much to add. But I love hearing what a wonderful man of God he was. She went through a lot before he came along, And it is just a beautiful beautiful thought to know how sincere his heart was. I will miss her. And I wish I could have met him.
I only met him as a child. His family came to our church for week long revivals. He and his sisters played violin so well and sang. Mrs Betsy was amazing on the piano
I first met the Nelons over 10 years ago when we lived in Oregon. On my worst Parkinson’s day Days they would always be there to talk to me. After seeing Sam Cam we started the Sam cam fan club. Sammy Nelon Clark was Their Doxen. I still can’t believe it was like 2 weeks ago maybe 3 that I spoke to Kelly on social media. My heart is broken as I pray for Autumn her husband and their unborn child. I can’t and won’t say goodbye, goodbye is forever. But I will say until we meet again and we will in Heaven
Can't believe that this beautiful couple is no more. We have been great fans of Gaither homecoming and we feel like family with the Nelons too. We are heartbroken and so saddened by this tragic news. I remember Sandi Patti and Laurenelle Harris singing that years ago. I loved it then and hearing Amber and her husband, Nathan, singing it made me cry. That was absolutely beautiful! I could just see their reaction when they saw Jesus face to face last week. Thanks for sharing their beautiful song together.
There are no words-such a marvelous talent lost to this sinful world we live in. Praying hard for her sister who is expecting her first child she now has to carry on without her parents as well. Come quickly Lord Jesus and take us home 🙏

My Heart is So Broken 💔 I didn't know them personally but listening to there music and then witnessing I felt like I knew them personally. They was my All time favorite gospel group and I shall miss them like they was part of my family. Autumn and her husband and unborn son is in my thoughts and Prayers and Always will be 😢 Prayers going out to Bill and Gloria Gaither and Thank Jesus they was there when Autumn made it there. I understand that Amber was all grown up and married, but in my mind and in my dad’s mind she is still the 10 year old girl we first saw on a Gaither Christmas homecoming video where Bill introduced her to the audience. This is so heartbreaking.
God can turn a tragedy into a testimony. It's hard to understand, but we serve a mighty God who holds us in His hands. May God be with all the family and friends.

So absolutely heartbreaking! What a beautiful family and they have the voice of angels. Prayers for Autumn and all left without them and the others who lost their loved ones on that plane, with brokenness that only Jesus can help them get through. Nathan and Amber put their whole heart into this song; their love for Jesus is so clear. The whole Nelon family loved our Lord and were greatly used to make our world better. All seven souls looked like wonderful people, gone too soon from us. Just so heart-wrenching. Thank you for sharing this beautiful song and memories of them here.
Though we may hurt for the loss of Kelly, Jason, Amber and Nathan, we need to think of the song Jeff and Sherie Easter sings “It’s Party Time”. They are now wearing their robe and crown, gathering around the Throne of God along with Kelly’s dad, The Goodman’s and many others, giving one of the greatest concerts ever heard. It’s Party Time and we need to rejoice and celebrate that they were chosen to go Home!!
I weep every time I hear them. First hearing the Nelons back in the late 80’s, early 90’s, my joy soars every time. This is my first time hearing Nathan.
From New York just now heard of the Nelons from their passing.. Loving their music ministry!! Grieving along with you all!! Looked to be so genuine, sweet souls!! Father touch and heal every broken heart that has been affected by the ministry of this beautiful family!!!
I still haven’t been able to process that they’re gone. I loved this family so much. I was supposed to start voice lessons with Kelly around October. I foolishly thought we had time. It’s so unreal to me. They will be alive in my heart forever.

I knew Nathan as kids, his family would travel around in an RV and minister to churches all over the nation preaching, singing and playing the violin. my heart breaks for his family 😞

It's hard enough to lose one family member but multiple family members that's got to be overwhelmingly hard prayers for Autumn and her husband Jamie and their unborn baby our prayers for Jason Clark and the Kissler familes and prayers to the Haney families.
Please don’t say that God needed them in Heaven. My Lord and savior does not cause a plane crash to take somebody to heaven. He’s a God of love he’s a God of mercy and he does not cause tragedies. Things happen in this life and they are not God’s fault.

I never heard of them before until now. They seemed to be the most sweetest spirits on earth. My heart grieved for the family. I would say one thing respectfully and that is. I wished they didn't use that small plane. I hate these tiny planes, I hate helicopters. They are not always maintained as commercial jets. Life can happen at anytime as we know, but some things have proven to be of greater risk than others. RIP SWEET ANGELS

I know the pain you are going through. I lost all my family a daughter by murder, a son to cancer, & a husband &pastor of forty forty years all gone in five years. I still don't understand but God does. The death of your family has shook me to the core. Couldn't sleep at all when I heard the news. We will see our love ones soon in heaven. ❤Love You all. There will be things that happen to us that defy human understanding, God knows and one day we will too, go forward in faith with compassion and love to those who survive. I'm sure those who were on that plane had no idea that this was the day they'd meet Jesus in person, now their voices will sing with the choirs of Heaven.
