What I feel during long journey of my life that the instrument Sahanai has the power to energise our body and mind instantly. When it is played by a great person like Ostadji, it works like magic. My humble observation is that it has much more power than any health drink. So whenever a person feel depressed or lack of energy or lack of concentration, just listen to this to get immediate positive effects. I am fortunate to enjoy his stage performance in kolkata .My pronam to this Great Person. 🙏🙏🙏
Excellent ever green music of ideal Son of Bharatmata . Never get this legend life in the land of Bharatmata. Actually he was Bharatratna til lnow even in future ,there is no alternative . He is proud of us . I know to pronam to the sole of Bismillaha khan .

I must say absolutely fantastic composition! Brings back memories of being at Indian weddings. Those were the days truly with the shehnai being played in the background. Thank you very very much for keeping our heritage and tradition alive for many many generations to come. May the master Ustad Bismillah Khan and he's wonderful musical masterpiece never be forgotten!
What a touching Shahnai Vadan ! We Indian's are very proud to have such Legends in Music Field. I met Bharat Ratna Bismillah Khan saab in the year 1987 at International Airport Mumbai, while he was travelling to Sydney, Australia for live performance along with his Team. I welcomed him at the time of Security check. He asked me, " Aap muze jante ho ! I said, " Sir, mai hi nahi Aapko toh Saree Duniya pahchanti hai". On this the Gentleman gave me a big Hug with an innocent Smile on his Face. I can't forget this Golden moment in my Life. Really he was a Godman. God bless him.

I have met bismillah Khan personally in Varanasi where I lived from 1961to 1971.he used to play in the temple for Ganesh ji.what a personality and dedication The best shehnai music I have heard.

There is not even a single Shubh Kaaj (Auspicious Occasion) which starts without Shehnai... And only that of Ustd Bismillah Khan Sahab... He was the performer whose Shehnai performance has been the beginning event of famous Sankat Mochan Festival held at Varanasi... Indian Classical Music has always been above any religion... When Ustd Bade Ghulam Ali Khan was recording "Yaad Piya ki Aayi", there is one line: Hai Ram... The sound recordist of Lahore radio asked Ustadji: "is it possible to change that Hai Ram", listening this Ustd ji left Lahore and shifted permanently to Kolkata...
Maestros like him have made India. We get ecstatic, listening to the ever green music, irrespective of religious leanings. Our Great Indian Politicians of all hues, please do not break this Country by Religious blame games aimed at garnering votes.
in hindustani classical shahnai is cosidered as Mangal dhawani for all Fastivals &prasangs & in that Bismillah Khan issertaj of shahnai vadak so it is sone me suhaga
The collection is very good, of course. Thanks for it. Unfortunately, the "Time Stamps" are all wrong and so is the "order of the Ragas". Actually, the "order" as given in the "picture" above is correct but not in the list below with the Time-Stamps. I have gone through the whole of it and tried to correct them. My times are approximate. I have also tried to verify the Raga names from independent sources.
