I grew up in Dayton Ohio, and some of my earliest memories are of Phil Donahue on WHIO TV and radio those are great memories. Now he can interview the angels and saints. Rest in peace Phil 🙏 thank you
I watched a sweet video on here of Marlo giving him a haircut. Then fixing a meal together. Feel for her and their family. He was so special to them. RIP Sir.
I grew up as a kid watching Phil with my mom until I went to school then when he was on when I was home after school in high school. He was fearless. He was a true reporter. RIP.
Phil was/is a television icon & outstanding man with a compassionate heart & brilliant mind. And what an amazing love story Phil & Marlo share. God bless them both & their family 🙏🏻🌸
I grew up watching Phil Donahue. A lot of what I learned about life was from watching his show when I was a kid. It sure as hell wasn't from anything my mother taught me. Oddly enough, I remember Sally Jessy Raphael - I remember listening to her from TalkNet days! I used to listen to her, Bruce Williams, the psychiatrist whose name I cannot remember (but, I loved the guy, he was fantastic!!! He was a Yale trainedvpsychiatrist - damn what was/is his name?) and Bernard Meltzer. God rest all of them! 🙏🏻
RIP Phil Donahue. His talk show was way better than Jerry Springer's. RIP to Jerry Springer too. In Donahue's talk show, there were NO fights or unruly kids like on Geraldo's, Jerry's, or Sally's shows. Phil Donahue hosted his talk shows with pure enthusiasm.
RIP Donahue. Marlo will be okay. Time certainly flies by & then you realize just how fast 💨when people you know or knew are dying really quickly. Whether it’s a past-tense (celebrity) or just your average person. But…there’s also another very potent/serious reason for all these deaths. I won’t go into detail rt here, but I see a pic that’s speaking volumes.
