Sister Josephine Therese understood that she was “of God”. She believed that St. Dominic’s was God’s work. Therefore, she walked with confidence, compassion and wisdom. Blessed with uncanny business acumen she readily saw abundance and possibility where others saw scarcity and feared failure. Her actions, her determination, her perseverance flowed from unwavering belief that, in the words of poet, Mary Oliver:
I am of God; I was not made for night.
Here there is room to lift my arms and sing.
Oh, God is vast!
