I mean, you really cant blame your teacher for the way he reacted. One can’t expect teacher’s to be bottomless pits of goodwill. You admit that you didn’t try, so why should he try? Him having you for a semester already was the first try.
you went with Redguard? umm... you skipped Battlespire. Which is more like the rest than Redguard ever was. And also.. the last game that actually had boobs in it without modding.
Morrowind and Oblivion were just incredible times and experiences in my gaming life. still after so many years later and all those hours in those games they 're totally unforgettable : D
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is my favorite game of all time. Would LOVE to see a faithful remake with SOME modern QOL changes (such as NPCs being able to chase you between cells)
Same. There will never be another experience like Morrowind for me. The level of world building and immersion is unmatched to this day. I wish I could play the game again for the first time.
If I hear 5 seconds of a song from Morrowind I instantly have to do another playthrough. Agreed, it's the greatest game ever made and I would do anything for a faithful remake.
I am the biggest Elder Scrolls lore nut. I started with Morrowind and played Oblivion and Skyrim when they launched then went back on DOS Box and did Arena and Daggerfall. I played ESO for 5 years but quit bc i was addicted lol. I hope i can play AND finish TES VI before i die. I’m 32 right now 😂 i really wish Bethesda would let other trustful devs make more games in Tamriel while we wait in between main games. The world is so good and expansive it’s a shame to not use it more. ESO is the closest to being able to go everywhere besides Daggerfall. I hope TES VI is like a modern Daggerfall
I think the biggest reason they're unwilling to let other devs touch their IPs is based purely on the reception to new vegas and it being developed by obsidian. Obsidian created the superior game in less time, and it was so good that 4 is considered an enormous downgrade, at least in regards to story, themes, and rpg mechanics. After that no more other devs cos that would mean they got a game to acc compete with rather than passing based purely on "Bethesda magic." I haven't played starfield yet, though, so hopefully that game stepped up in regards to its writing
@@TY-km8hjas a life long Bethesda player starfield is good is not terrible but it is no where near Skyrim or even fallout 3 it feels very dead and abandoned i know it's a whole universe but I feel just doing a couple planets and going all out would of been better I hate how humans are the only species besides alien animals it feels very non Bethesda like in fallout you can fight ghouls, mutants, death claws and more but in starfield it is only humans
I know it’s hard work putting content out at this pace. But please, try to remember, you’re doing what you love, and most people have passionless professions to pay the bill. Happy for you, brother, keep up the good work!
I was floored by Oblivion back in 06. The graphics were insane I had never seen an open world that detailed I would just walk around looking at blades of grass and flowers. Who would’ve thought at the time that 17 years and two console gens later we’d have open worlds that look like Pokémon Violet 😢
ESO has a very chill community and is a game I go back to every year for a month or two. I really love it and I’ll never see it all, but I enjoy hanging out there from time to time.
Me too. I sub every few months then end up playing oblivion or skyrim. I wish i had a group to get properly stuck into eso but i have no friends interested in it
I got absolutely hooked when I started playing, went through the Morrowind questline. The community was absolutely lovely. It feels like a real place of adventure, where you can walk up to some folks fishing or hanging out, have a chat about whatever, party up for an interesting quest or just go exploring together. It's the kind of game where you can make legit friends. Sadly though, I really fell off when I went to other lands, I suppose because I was first excited about revisiting places from Morrowing and didn't care about much else after that.
Morrowind was my first game when I was a kid and all I did on it was see how far I could walk away from Seyda Neen. I remember being blown away when I came across a town and city. Thought the game went on forever.
Morrowind felt like a survival game often times. It was harsh and unforgiving and I absolutely adored it as a kid. I also miss the Levitation skill so much...that needs to come back with the more robust hardware we have now. I remember exploring a dungeon/cave and noticing a faint light up near the ceiling. Welp, I levitate up there and sure enough there's a small little room carved out in the rock with one of the unique daedric masks up hidden up there! Incredible game. Which reminds me, please for the love of God Bethesda stop tying loot tiers to your character level! In Morrowind, you could kill a character wielding Deadric and loot it for youraelf even if you were low level! My first Deadric item in Morrowind was from killing a slave plantation owner. Such a great game! I love the reduction of hand holding in Starfield but they could go further with that imo
These thumbnails have been so good lately! Would love to see an iconic character like the Adoring Fan make an appearance on a thumbnail drawn in this style someday
My friend, I gotta say - this vid made me sub. I too, first played Morrowind at a friend's house and thought, "I gotta try this weirdness". That started it all - and then I got my first JOB for a 360/Oblivion. I also had all the maps on my wall! Thank you for sharing this nostalgia!
I remember playing Morrowind (also being frustrated by missing) and wandering through the starting area and town, and then being absolutely blown away when I discovered traveling to other towns and seeing the scope of the map size. I had never really seen anything that large before. So open world.
I try to get on these every release. I feel everyone’s hype. But I never play them for more then 10 hours, just don’t care for the structure or stories
I made an entire fanfic series consisting of so many characters in the Elder Scrolls world. I refer to it as the Bellonseries. Most stories consist of the main character from each game but others are from characters in between. I took inspiration from the Fable series. I'm trying to say that this series inspired me.
Idk i enjoy starfield but it feels like what Bethesda is doing now doesn’t push the envelope the same way it used to. Expectations have definitely been lowered
I still fire up Skyrim when I want to chill. It's familiar, but there is still always something new to find. I can't think of another game like it. Absolutely deserving of it's long, long life & legendary status.
You forgot about Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire , and the were some mobile ports of TES Travels like The Elder Scrolls Travels: Stormhold, The Elder Scrolls Travels: Dawnstar, The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey and The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion
i would literally write on that map as a kid to keep track of things. "lots of rich people" was written above cheydinhal. lots of dungeons in this area, etc etc
I don’t think ES6 will be all of Tamriel. I think it’ll be focused on a single province, but will have fully fleshed out and explorable deadric planes of oblivion.
the dlc from skyrim that takes you to a 'part' of morrowind is solstheim, they tell you that, it's called that when you fast travel to it, whenever you try to exit anything, it is named in the quest log, the ship captain says it when you initially have to go there, castle karstaag, shit just open the map on either game, did you actually play the dlc?
Much like your experience of being surrounded by people that weren't into these types of games, i too became an outcast when i was introduced to elder scrolls. Oblivion completely changed who i was. I went from a hedonistic raver to a complete shut in. I worked 4 ten hour shifts from monday night to friday morning and played oblivion during any time inbetween. I regret not a single second of those many hours playing.
The best way to experience a more modern take on Morrowind expansion for elder scrolls online. I played through it on Gamepass in March. It was a ton of fun!
Between this channel and your main channel I’ve been really enjoying these bethesda videos! Bethesda is my favorite game studio and I always get lost in their single player games. Keep it up!
Morrowind is my favorite game in the series to this day. Something about it just felt more immersive. It was truly like playing in a sandbox where you could make and break the rules.
I read through the Oblivion booklet so many times. I remember I couldn't figure out how to level up on my first playthrough and was reading the booklet and found out I had to rest in bed. I slept and was immediately level 12. lol
Morrowind.. One of my first ever real RPGs, and potentially favorite game ever. Incredible. Oblivion.. Played on 2 diff platforms to completion, with ALL DLCs. I get chills, and suffer withdrawal symptoms when I hear a track from the ost. Skyrim.. Many, many days spent playing, going to sleep, waking up, playing on release. Repeat for the Dawnguard, and Dragonborn DLCs. I might need help.
Morrowind is the best Elder Scrolls game change my mind. It deserves a remaster given how groundbreaking it is and that it saved Bethesda I was surprised it didn’t get a remastered port to modern consoles for its 20th anniversary. I hope Elder Scrolls VI brings back the classics RPG features/update them like Race stats, Attributes, Class, Birthsigns, plenty of factions (with restrictions and consequences), branching questlines and being able to kill any NPC even if it ruins quests because true immersion letting the player do whatever they want. Well we’ll see
One of my favorite elder scrolls character I made was my Swordsinger Redguard. I maxed out conjuration skill and got bound sword scimitar and played my character straight to the lore of the swordsingers. It was awesome they are literally the Jedi of elder scrolls universe.
It is mind-boggling and astonishing how good you can make Skyrim look with mods. I’m still in disbelief every time I boot up my heavily modded game on PC. The game looked very mediocre on release. I remember the hate it was getting on console. But my God, you can make Skyrim look better than a lot of today’s games. Not just in quality and clarity, but in art style and as an art form. It’s truly incredible.
Theres also elderscrollsdont forget about Elder Scrolls Travels Dawnstar and Shadowkey on the bloody Nokia N-Gage lol. I know bethesda only published them though
I thought the spell-making customization was far superior in Morrowind vs Oblivion, and not being able to delete all or certain spells in oblivion was a pain. But yes a great game nonetheless.
The only games I play at least an hour every day are the old school pokemon games Blue, Gold, Fire Red, Emerald etc. and the Elder Scrolls. Sometimes Fallout 3 and 4 sessions here and there but Fallout isn't really my Jam like the Elder Scrolls games are. Still Fallout Series are a lot of fun and good games at that.
I reacently started playing skyrim,i was kinda burnt out from current games, and im fuvkung loving it tho im at the beginning i just joined companions and did the trial with a shield brother from inner circle
"Bethesda's First New IP In Over 25 Years!" is the targline I keep seeing on StarField advertisements. Unfortunately, their "new IP" both looks & feels like every game they've released in the past.
Na bruh. If you actually play it you can see the amount of detail in the world design, the unique objects, the lore, characters etc. It’s definitely a Bethesda game, but the world feels so fresh
I really hope Morrowind will be remastered… it’s my all time favorite game and I’d easily pay $100… yes stupid but man! My 10 to 12 year old years was a blast with this game 100’s of characters I made over and over just testing the waters.
Morrowind was one of the first RPGs I really got into when I was younger. My friends were all into Final Fantasy and stuff, but I couldn't get enough of Morrowind. When Oblivion was announced and we started seeing early screenshots, I could not have been more excited, and I love that game too. I seriously can't imagine playing these on anything but PC, though.
I remember loading up Skyrim and not really picking a build as I was trying to just do my own thing for the majority of the game which in turn I ended up doing a sneak thief variation as I'm sure everyone ended up doing and falls back on anytime they try to play a different role lol. But I remember having a giant hammer in the beginning of the game and one of the NPCs I was fighting said she yielded and I just remember slamming that hammer down on them as they tried to block it with their great axe. Duel spells is always fun too. Morrowind broke me with spell usage. Cast a jump spell with high hp and speed and soar across the map.
I think starfield feels small because it's very obvious how you can't explore entire planets. It just randomly generates a relatively small area every time you land. There's a handful of noticeable locations but then you'll hit invisible walls. You can land, take off and land back in the same spot and the terrain will be different.
I reckon I sunk 1000 hours into oblivion over the years. One of the greatest games of all time. Recently played through Fallout 3 also and that is a classic aswell
If you have an Xbox or PC you can play it right now and a remaster will be really hard cause of the mechanics that are in oblivion so I wouldn't hold your breath. The reason I say that is because they abandoned a lot of mechanics for oblivion so a remake or remaster won't really do it justice.
Hold on there guy, did you even get out of the tutorial dungeon in Arena? You just went in the water and then it looped back to you opening the gate. It's also funny because arena has a better introduction to the game world then Starfield.
Arena’s controls didn’t exactly age well lol. I don’t blame him for not wanting to play much of it. Especially since Daggerfall is pretty much an upgrade in every single way.
I need to play Morrowind 😕 I came into the series with Oblivion and I’ve been meaning to play it. There’s just been so many good games lately. Thankfully it’s on GamePass and isn’t going anywhere lol
I love this series. My only concern with elder scrolls siz is how they seem to shrink everything character wise each iteration. Less weapons. Less armor types. Less skills. Doesnt ruin the games but man.
