Earlier, I heard the 67 year old lady interviewed at Zeke's stature. She was great! She made a comment that struck a nerve with me. She said that she had "heard Chick Hearn call Zeke's 63 foot shot in the NBA Finals against the Knicks. I had the enormous good fortune to WATCH that shot live, in a theater that was broadcasting the Fnals live. I had to be in LA that night, since I had my Army physical during the Vietnam War the next day. I read that the game was bein played in a theater within walking distance from my motel. The excitement in that theater at that moment is among the greatest/fun sports experiences I have ever had. Zeke was the best all-around basketball talent ever. He is in the top ten as a player, and stands alone as an executive and a Laker for life. RIP Zeke!
