I'll never forget how proud I was when my daddy sent me that X Mob tape from LC to Cali. I was so proud of The Chuck, boasting to all my lil friends at the time perpetrating like I knew Bundy & E. Vicious🥴. Always was and always will be grateful for X Mob and they contributions to the game. P.S. when they did that song with B-Legit on the 'Turf Stories' Compilation 🤯🤯🤯

As a 40 yr old from South Lake Charles, I can still remember hearing the Mob CD when it came out as me and my boys older brother and friends were bumping it out their rides in the driveway in the mid 90's. Over the years I've been able to put my people on em from all over, having my friends from several other states quoting lyrics from then on like... Too Short ended up getting on it, "just a week ago", lol pimp c rejected it until he was forced to do big pimpin in 1999 to maximize ugk's career. So jay probably already had song concepts and knew he wanted someone with pimp c vibe/too short vibe
