Great Video as usual bigdrum! Do you know what is the March the Band Of The Coldstream Guards are playing? I've heard it before on parades but I seem to have forgot the title. The Band Of The Royal Marines are playing 'Soldier an Sailor Too', The Scots Guards Band play 'The Liberators' then The Grenadier Guards Band play 'Unter Den Linden' and finally The Central Band Of The RAF play 'National Emblem'
Hjaltland60 Thanks for your reply Hjaitland60. The March is then for 3rd Dragoon Guards which is why it sounds very Cavalry like in substance but still sounds great played by a Foot Guards Band. Thanks again!
tralens Good to hear from you again, Tralens. Many thanks to you and Hjaltland60 for the names of the marches being played by the bands. I'll incorporate this information into the video information. Best wishes to you both.
Does anybody know the tune that is being played..it starts at 3:40 I believe..it sounds familiar but I dont know the name,,any help would be greatly appreciated
Women also in Guards or only in Mass Bands? I didnt see a Woman, with Gun,in the Guard. Only men were in Guard and some Women in Mass Band. Why are not Women in Guards?
ok in Mass Bands ,there are some Women. But no Women is in the regiment of Foodguards. There shoult be more Women. So th Royal Guard shouldt commit Women in the Royal Foodguard.
I used to play in our village band and we did play at a remembrance parade once with a professional army parade master and I was terrified as he shouted his orders at us and I am not even in the army!!!
The Drum Major with the RAF Band looks as though he's just come from the Circus ? What is that all about ? ...... swinging his arm like it's just been broken by an elephant standing on it ? SuperNutkin
There is no clown on that parade, and if you think there is you are showing a member of her majesty's armed forces disrespect and showing your own ignorance.
