In light of COVID-19 restrictions, Remembrance Sunday 2020 could not be like previous years. At 11am on Sunday 8th November, people were asked to pay tribute through a two-minute silence at their doorsteps.
The Victoria Tunnel's involvement with the Second World War has traditionally meant we mark the occasion through special tours. This year, we were unable to welcome the public into the Tunnel to remember the stories of people who lost their lives during conflict. However, we'd like to share this commemorative short video produced by our Guide, Sarah.
