He was probably depressed about the entire "Deletors" mess and went to the desert to find redemption like every other sensible anime character and met Rive and he gave the deck to Chrono because it belongs to him. It was him who called the units. If that makes sense.

Same as Aichi having Alfred Early earlier than in Season 1 (no pun intended), Kai having Dragonic Overlord The Great before Legion Mate and Aichi having Monarch Sanctuary Alfred before the Reverse Arc. Making V a bit different from the original.

I like that they are rebooting some of the series and add new things but I wish in the first season of the reboot ,with aichi, is that they kept the shadow palladian arc with aichi having the shadow palladian clan and psyqulia
