Love this hair dryer brush I've got 2 they are the best bought the revlon one first but it went on fire ,tried 2 others but returned the Remington one is the best I've used
Hi!! As long as you use your heat protectant before hand it will be fine! 🥰 I have used mine on dry hair aswell and it's still worked really well but I find damp hair gets best results!
They are both really good but for different reasons! found the Revlon one was really good if you are going to use it from having wet hair whereas the Remington hydra luxe works better on hair that's 80% dry, I know that can be an inconvenience for a lot of people! I personally liked both but I think the revlon one was quicker as you don't have to wait for your hair to dry off and I would use that one with my hair wet more whereas with the Remington I would have to blow dry my hair a bit first or wait for it to air dry!
I'm looking for the same info, but I have watched and read reviews on Revlon (not the pro, the original version): Most people complained that it gets scorching hot and definitely NOT TO BE USED directly on wet hair. No wonder it dries the hair better, as Louise described it, but in the long run, many people have realised that it burnt their hair. Also, the bristles started to melt. I had ordered the original version of Revlon, but after reading how much hair loss, dryness and breakage it causes to hair, I cancelled it. I cannot find the pro version here in my country, but I chose Remington as it has more heat settings, including cool.
@@louisearmbruster OMG, Louise, don't use Revlon on wet hair! This is my first time here on your channel and thank you so much for this review. I haven't checked yet if you have reviewed Revlon's OG hair brush, but many people said that it will cause more damage if you use it on wet hair. I think for any hair styler with heat, it is recommended to have 70-80 % dry hair.
