Its awesome how many of these get passed down through generations, its the same with my model 721 was my great grandpas and has been passed down since and i will continue to pass down our family treasure
Excellent video, I love hearing how it was passed down for generations. Older guns just have something about em that newer rifles just don't have except for a select few. My Grandad had a Remington 721 aswell chambered in 30-06. I would love to see more videos on this fine rifle if possible, thank you
I have a 1952 721 in 30-06 with a Lyman peep sight. I have shot deer in Missouri with it for the last two season since I bought it up in Alaska. It’s probably my deer rifle for the rest of my life now.
Mine I got passed down from my grandpa then dad then to me . It's originally fome the catskill mountain area of upstate New York where I grew up. I know that my dad grandpa n uncle all killed deer with it. And took excellent care of the rifle. Unfortunately here in Illinois we can't use high power rifles to shoot deer. So I'm planning a future hunt in Missouri or possibly Kentucky or Tennessee where they allow them . I can't wait to make it happen .n thanks for liking channel .
Nice!! I have a 1952 model, which someone traded me for a battery operated lawn mower. 😃 Didn't know what I had until recently I did some research on the manufacturer date and checked out some videos. Definitely will treasure it.
I live in NWI and bought this same rifle today at a gun show in Elkhart. I paid $650 and so far I'm pleased with my purchase. Mines a 1957 model. How much did you pay for this rifle? Thanks for posting.
