This is the Remington T-series Multigroomer.
This is the never-ending quest to find the perfect travel grooming trimmer so I can give myself a haircut on my travels to stay looking fresh.
The build quality of the Remington is actually great. I used to think they were a little lacking as it’s plastic whereas the affordable brands offer a metal body, making the whole trimmer feel of better quality but, for travel, I’ve realised every gram counts. To stay under the weight allowance, having a lightweight grooming set, is ideal.
The trimmer is ok for fading and shaping up but it’s not zero-gapped as claimed so can’t give you that close skin shave like a razor. I like the attachments and the one-stop-shop approach with the dialled attachment.
The battery lasts quite a long time between charges. I wish the trimmer was charged via USB-C rather than a proprietary type one but it’s ok. I found a USB to Pin cable so no need to bring along the plug. The design is just what I was looking for however, I wish the motor was a little more powerful for cutting the thicker hairs.
Overall I’m happy with this trimmer and will combine the heads of the previous Remington T-series MB7000 trimmer. As always, the search must continue…
We’re getting closer, I can feel it.
So without further ado..
Here is my cinematic unboxing.
