I've used this straightener since I was 16! Its amazing and get my hair bone straight and keeps it soooo light weight, I think the hair has to be pretty damp and you didn't turn the heat up enough. My hair is a 3 something texture lol and it saves so much time with blow drying and what not. Try using it correctly and you'd be surprised what happens.

undead4469 I glad it worked for you, it’s still a no for me... my hair dries pretty fast so I would have to keep spraying it to keep it damp & the part that was wet burn my scalp with the steam... It’s a No for me, but I’m glad it works for you. Thanks for watching 😊

Pdunzelman I use frizz ease in combination with it and it stays straight for 2 weeks to a month depending on the season

Pdunzelman yes it does. It straightened my hair.. it just looked dull and not professional (in my opinion) and you have to use another smaller iron to straighten the hair closest to your scalp.

I’ve been using the Wet to Dry for years. I have natural tailbone length hair and it saves me so much time. I usually do 2-3 slow passes to give it a chance to dry my hair first and then straighten it. It gets my hair incredibly straight with a lot less heat. I think using 3 tools with multiple passes took longer on the right side, albeit with beautiful results. 👍🏾 Btw, the W2D comes in a smaller size, I own both, and can be used on wet or dry hair. Give it another shot with slower passes. ✌🏾

The blow dried side ,when you first compared the two sides, looked so much frizzy , and the remington iron side looks shinier.

My guess is that it really isn’t intended for “textured” hair. 🤷🏽‍♀️ But I guess that’s true of lots of things 😔

Love 💞 this line of products by Remington. Is it wet 2 dry, straight or style? Not sure but it works. I first found this flat iron in the dollar general or family dollar. Can't remember which one. It sat on my shelf for a couple years cause the first time I used it I thought it was burning my hair with all that sizzle. Went back the next time and blow dried my hair first and loved the outcome. Found a upgraded model in target 🎯 or Walmart and started using it on a regular. Wanted a smaller iron and couldn't find one then I found a knock off in Sally's. Works just as well. My tip would be to air dry the hair first cause if your trying to go straight it's going to take forever ♾️. You'll notice that the ends look healthier not dry and frayed. And when your hair gets wet again it creates a natural curl instead of a bush. This product will loosen your curl pattern but it does not damage your hair. I use lots of oils in my hair and scalp. After a few sessions I don't have to flat iron for a few days until my roots start growing in and then I flatiron that new growth. Have fun. You'll love this products. Make you look like you got Indian or Puerto Rican in your family. Chow...

Changed my thumbs up to thumbs down. I bought one of these. It's light in color not the black one and almost has a tint of purple to it. I bought at walmart online was on sale for 21$ reg 26$. All my expensive straighters just wasn't cutting it. I would have to go over small pieces.of hair very slow in order for it to just look ok. This tool was awesome. I just love it. I used on highest setting right after shower I didn't sit around for half hour letting it dry up. Not only does this straighten wet to dry but if I'm out in steamy weather or steamy room my hair still stays straight I don't even care if it's drizzling out and it hits my hair. No worries here. It stays straight for.a few days till I was again. I just am so thankful to find this. With that said I think you should do an update on this review with your hair in a bun right out of the shower taking your hair.down as needed to straighten it. Use the highest heat too. It's excellent it will make your regular iron look like a 5$ iron. Please update use it the way it was intended

Thanks for the video, you saved me the money from buying it, and you are so right about the fact that a regular flat iron is capable of doing the same thing,I guess I too was hoping for a,quicker miracle to do my hair faster as a white woman with hair that is worse than some of my black friends who laugh everytime they see it and what I go through every time I wash it, which is usually only once a week due to it being so insanely dry! But I am definitely going to follow you and LOVE all your tips and advice. Thank you so much! Sincerely, Kay
