Hey guys! Again I'm trying something new. This time It's a video essay! :ooooo. I've been wanting to make one of these for years so I wanted to use this chance to talk about a big part of my childhood that means a lot to me. I hope you enjoy! 💚🎮
I grew up playing Ps2 and xbox 360 at my friends home and local gaming parlour, but unfortunately never been able to own a 360, but I'm planning to buy a 360 for the first time.
I still remember my vast memories w that console damn. I grew up during the 8th gens but I had 2 brothers that grew up during the 7th gens and were VERY active on the gaming scene. Once had a ps2 but it wasn't until they got a 360 slim during their teen years (I was only a young lil lad, this was like mid-late 2010s atp) that I remembered the most. I still remember those times where we'd go to this small 3rd party game store and bought all the good shit. I didn't play a majority of my bro's catalogue (unfortunately) but rather to just sit by their side and just watch them progress thru different games (ie transformers foc & woc, bioshock infinite, all the cod games, etc). I had my own library which was almost all driving games, but then they introduced me to cod mw3, bo2, waw, lego msh & batman, watch dogs 1, gta 4, minecraft, and etc, which, like you, were games that I hadn't even heard of att all those great gaming experiences would live on until one day the hard drive just died, along with all our >100 games that we've contained in it and all our very own dedicated progress as well. Then a couple years ago, we found out that the 360 wouldn't turn on anymore due to rust building up as a result from many many months of undeserved negligence. what a console honestly mb for the yapping but I wanted to share this story since you were talking about the same console's nostalgic factor anyway lmfao
@@deezombiedude THANK YOU MR HENRY!!! 🥹 I thought of your assignment when making this video, still one of my faves from college and even my tertiary education in general.
This Channel only has 70 subs??? Your vid goes crazy dude (also idk if that friend still has that gamertag, but it might not be a good idea to put it out there, especially considering how the internet is)
Please someone help, i want to get some xbox but i dont know which one, the 360 is kinda outdated but i love it so much and marketplace is shatdown and you cant play the modern games on it and i dont even know if i still can play multiplayer games with it, how is the servers out there.. and theres the boring xbox one in the other hand.. i was thinking to pay 60 bucks more to play the xbox one with 360 controller but it doesnt hit the same its got a lot o differences please someone help me about this..
@@C00kie-k6f Definitely look into JTAG/RGH Xbox 360 hacking. Basically it allows you to download games off the internet on to its hard drive internally or externally. Try and snag an old 360 second hand if you have the chance and follow this tutorial : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D3DDglRBqfY.html Servers are offline for a hacked 360 unfortunately but they are still active if you have a gold/gamepass ultimate subscription. Guess thats the only drawback, but wholeheartedly worth it for tons of great single player games.
@@C00kie-k6f nope it wont work, forgot to mention that once you hack and xbox basically it's completely unable to go online again. Although, you could look up something called a stealth server to play online using a jailbreaked xbox but it costs money and I personally haven't tried it.
the most modern console I ever had is the 360. I collect games for it now. I got Crackdown, Dead Island Riptide and Army of Two for £4. I started playing Mass effect for the first time tonight. I think it was £1.50. It's kind of got to the point now where my backlog is a bit overwhelming haha. I just love collecting games physically, especially with manuals. I don't think there has been one game I've played yet that I haven't had fun playing. Because I go in with no expectations, like I did when I was a kid. When I was a kid I just played whatever games I got for presents, etc. Now it's like buying a cheap present to myself once a week. Modern games are cool and look stunning but I don't know, I'm enjoying my 360 hobby right now. I could buy a Series X or like 50 360 games.
