Remix 2 DS but with some of my favorite games - Rhythm Heaven Custom Remix

@@Jaydakin i find it good, it’s just got the fever problem, being way too short. Also I personally wasn’t that big of a fan of set 2’s minigames, definitely the worst set overall.

@@Jaydakin it almost changed the way I viewed the remix, but I’m still convinced remix 8 of gba is the worst one. It’s just a very repetitive victory lap. Why?

@@Jaydakin i think I was introduced to rhythm heaven with the “remix 10 fever with smash characters” video. Personally, I didn’t fall in love with fever, I got accustomed to it. DS though, I definitely fell in love with built to scale. I just have to mention that one.

oh yeah, ds built to scale is pretty good, the pacing is very fitting for a first game

@@thequeenofstaplesmiles i first fell in love with the series watching a jerma stream vod of rhythm heaven fever in early 2020, though i had probably seen some things from the series before then

@@Jaydakin i honestly just love the jacked up english they have in japanese, it’s so silly! I may actually play megamix in japanese just to hear those ridiculous voice lines. I don’t plan on a cheer readers perfect atm, it’s not quite my style. It’s still a really solid minigame, though. I stick to the other counting minigame in fever, but I’m a sucker for the sequel! Maybe I’ll grow some new love for cheer readers, but as a person who got shrimp shuffle as their perfect in fever, I doubt it’ll happen unless I get a perfect.

@@CWM102 it’s a bit short, but I liked it. Remix 5, not exactly that… Interesting. It’s really random.

@@CWM102 I do like it as well is what I mean, I try not to hate on a remix unless it gets way too repetitive. Remix 2 just has… Not the best selection of minigames. And it’s a bit too short for my liking.

i think remix 5 ds used to be my least favorite too what's bad in your opinion about remix 7 gba? i know it reuses the music from 1 2 and 4 but i think it's a fun gimmick with how it mixes up the games in them, i don't love it but i think it's fun and yeah remix 3 gba is pretty underrated imo, my only real complaint is that wizard's waltz section where the interval between call and response is 6.5 beats which feels kinda unnatural and weird

@@Jaydakin It’s just… Lazy. I mean, yeah those three numbers result in 7, but remix 1 is incredibly reptitive, and that same issue occurs in remix 4. Remix 2 can’t save it either, as while I liked that remix, it was still not that good. And fun fact: If gba had ten sets like the others, it probably would have overall great remixes! Because I love all three of the remix 9s. Ds has clever use of cues and a great selection of minigames, fever has a very cool color scheme and also a good selection of minigames, while megamix has some nice representation of minigames, and overall, I just prefer it over the left-hand remix. For… reasons. Remix 7 at least had some great minigames used, including a few from set 3 actually! And remix 8… I don’t need to explain. Although for fever, I have absolutely what my least favorite remix is! Four of them have the perfect bias, while the others are all at least pretty good. I’m honestly split between 2, 7, and 8. Let me explain. 2 is just… Way too short. It’s also very unforgiving, cause if you get TWO misses you can’t get a superb anymore. Yeah. 7 is just… Outclassed. The theme is cool I guess, but the remix doesn’t have much to back it up. And 8 is really fast and well… I still suck at it. Because I’m not good at most of the minigames in the remix. It’s a personal problem though, and I’d probably get into an argument if I said one of the three was my least favorite remix in fever. I honestly don’t know! They’re all pretty good. I just don’t want too many people getting mad over my opinion.
