Thank u very much Matt for talking about psoriasis. I am 43 years old & I have delt with it since I was 11 years old & unfortunately at 16 years old I was diagnosed with the arthritis that can accompany it which has been a very difficult road, I myself am on a medication called Remicade that has to be approved & due to it being VERY expensive like over $15,000 per dose takes a VERY long time & is very stressful cuz if I get off schedule both my skin & joints go CRAZY. I think that the more psoriasis is talked about the more it may be researched & possible new medication may become available so again THANK YOU Matt!!! Also very excited to see Remi on here I absolutely LOVE her!!!

I’m glad that Matt is so open about having psoriasis. I’ve dealt with psoriasis since I was 9, and I never knew anyone with it. So it’s nice to have someone who can relate on how uncomfortable and frustrating this skin condition can be.

This was one of my favorite episodes!🥰 …going back to the dog food conversation, one time my family and I were going on vacation so we left our small dog at my grandparents’ house, my uncle still lived there at the time. He sat down and started munching on our dog’s dry food that my mom packed in a ziploc bag. He thought they were corn nuts😅😅 he spit them out asking my mom (his sister) what flavor they were 😂

I also have the same kind of psoriasis and I use humira when it gets really bad too. I stay away from gluten and dairy (as much as possible) and that helps a lot for me.

Hi Matt, My biggest tip that might help your psoriasis is going gluten free. Prior, to going gluten free it is highly recommended that you get tested for Celiac. Psoriasis is an auto immune disease and you are typically more likely to get another auto immune disease such as Celiac. There are journals and studies done that have shown great results of gluten free. Please remember the importance of cross contamination. I hope you get well soon
