Dude 230 hours in here and I just figured this out. I’ve had 10 shards forever and I was so curious if my game was bugged. Fuck. God. Damn. It.

Thanks... Yes they call for reinforcements but it doesn't always have an Aberration in, you need our guy for this, he is doing the hard work😅

@CTSkirata I did too loose some hours trying different things, this is the fastest and more consistent method i could find. Just find a similar spot in a burning map with our guy give it a few minutes and it will work👍

Thanks man. That's all good you said i hope the devs should add something. But the most important is that they will make it more consistent between waves even mine doesn't always works. If 5 times i go there the 3 will work and 2 will not work. Also there's some bugs i heard in ps5 is even worse it worked better in N'Erud.

I haven't try this because when i was starting farming shards i almost had all mutators. I'm not sure if it will work that way ,but i am sure that some mutators have a spesific Aberrations that you have to kill and that Aberration doesn't spawn again, like Gorge and Twisted Wounds. It's a good thought nevertheless worth a try.

@@WereUlv okay so basically go to the wiki. There’s a list of mutators that don’t drop from normal aberrations, but rather they drop from the ones you find in the wild. This method is perfect for farming those specific mutators

I think that it's one and the same. Unfortunately I can't find a better way to test it more.

You have to start Marrow Parish and get through the first map until you find one with the burning men. Butchers Quarter can also work if you manage to find our guy and the largest group of enemies. Any burning map with our guy and lots of enemies can work.

Didn't work for me at all, i was waiting there 20-30 minutes for one. But that's something you can try if one or the other doesn't work. I am trying to find if there is patter on this and if it is different from console and pc.

@@WereUlv heard the same thing from a guy on Reddit that it didn’t work for him, I play console PS5 so maybe it’s different

@darthode I'm on pc, i did try all most everything i saw, that was the fastest way for me by far. I don't know if there is a pattern i hope the guy's that will try it they will tell us.

Hehe I'm only on shooting builds, you saw him you shoot him and that's all. I don't like so much the spell builds with all the correct timings. That was an experiment build and it's not my main, for this farming i use challenger because sometimes Aberrations can be hard to kill and i don't want to lose the shard. I am not at home right now so i can't tell you my build but it's almost identical to this, that i was using a few months back. Nope it works?? I only did try The Root Nexus in Yashea that i did see in another video no luck.

@@WereUlv Root Nexus I suppose is nerfed in lastest patch. But the flautist area works, you just have to kill all the Root Dragons in the nearby tree house and leave 1 behind and keep strolling, 80% of the time and aberration shows up there. You kill the aberration>find the root dragon>bring it near the tree house>keep strolling. If you get an elite, die and retry.

Both but you have better chances on Apocalypse.

Use liquid escape and start from checkpoint wait for 3-4 waves if no Aberration comes use again liquid escape and start over, eventually a wave with Aberrations will come.

Are you on the right place? Is our guy ok? If yes use liquid escape sometimes it can stuck don't wait more than 5 minutes, every minute or two a wave should be coming.

Yes you can have both versions at the same time and you don't know what they will do in future updates, which version they will bettet and which worst.

@@WereUlv oh cool last time I looked you just sacrificed the standard version and that was it. I still probably won't ever use them as i don't use any of these weapons anyway, but I will collect them just for the sake of it.

Just to be clear if you make them corrupted you have to go and find the regular version again. If it's not corrupted and you find the gun a second time you will get scrap. That's how it works.

@@WereUlv yeah, when they implemented the corrupted versions you could only convert them back and forth, and I haven't bothered looking at them ever since.

I didnt't try it in Duos but i guess it should be working. Where you at the largests group of enemies? Because if it was a small group and our guy, it dosn't work. Also if you wait around a 4-5 minutes and no waves coming restart from checpoint.Try a few restarts and eventually it should start spawning. Also are you on ps5? I did read in some forums that for ps5 Losomn dosn't work and it's better on N'Erud.

@@WereUlv we were in butchers quarter and we found the entrance to the one rat boss. we used the entrance to bug the AI of the guy, i would just stand past the crouched section and the guy would try to come to me but he wouldnt try to hit me. I did that while my buddy would just roam around, we kept getting the Elites but no Aberrations. is there something we were messing up or just out right soemthing we werent supposed to do?

Hmm i don't know if one you should roam maybe both of should be at the same place near him and looping him. Also it was Apocalypse difficulty because you said that it spawn the elites but not Aberrations. The usually pattern most of the times for me was :1st wave 3 burning men 2nd the same 3rt or 4th Aberration. Sometimes it stuck and didn't spawn any Aberrations and sometimes it stuck and it spawn only Aberrations like in the video. Try it a few times if he doesn't spawn Aberrations use check point also give it some tries in solo.

First of all are you on pc or ps5? On ps5 i don't know if it is working. It doesn't always work on me too but you have to catch the wave. If no aberations are coming restart from checpoint give it a 5 minute for 3-4 waves to come, in those waves if there is not one aberation restart from checkpoint again, repeat this eventually a wave with aberations will come. Don't just stand there and looping him for ever because it get stuck and summons the same waves or no waves at all. I can't guarantee that it will work on you because it's remnant and have lots of random mechanics. I did try almost everything i saw from other videos with no luck at all. That work perfect for me, thats why i deside to make the video, usually i got 10 shards in 45 mins with 2-3 restarts from chepoint.

@@WereUlv Im on PC. Ill try resetting after 3-4 waves later tonight when I get back on. I did have better luck when I kited the guy into the next one to the point I had 3 of them following me and then an aberration appeared. Thats hard to do because sometimes one will despawn or head back to is original spot.

I see, just try a few different things and i think you will find it. I did go back in right now and same thing for me 40 minutes 10 shards and i lost 2 shards because they Aberration killed me😅

@@WereUlv OMG this Aberration stuff is BS. I had one spawn in just as I went to far from the caster enemy causing the music to stop and the fucking thing despawned. I know this cause when I got back to him and aggroed him getting the music to start there were a bunch of slimes moving around that were clearing from the Minion tag on an aberration.

I dont know how everyone are getting these things to spawn, starting to think It's some kind of cheat and everyone is trolling with these videos. 40min 2 aberration and one despawned netting me only 1 shard

You are doing it wrong buddy. Go there find the guy loop him for 4-5 waves if no Aberration spawn in this waves, use liquid escape and restart from checkpoint, go find him again and repeat the process eventually a wave of Aberrations will come. Don't just stand there and wait forever, 4-5 waves max because if it stuck he will spawn the same waves over and over.

@@WereUlv i did exactly that! =) i found the guy, looped for 10+ waves! no abberation spawned. i will then use liquid escape and restart from the checkpoint. i did this for 1.5 HRS! and nothing =( . i'm not standing there waiting forever, if you read my comment above carefully, you'll see i said that, "i looped a million times". i'm literally running around going in a loop keeping the elite alive, and no abberation spawn. killed several mob waves over and over cued by the music... no luck =( only diff is, i'm in Butcher's Quarter i'll def try again, maybe a different map! appreciate the vid, esp since it's diff than the phantom wasteland run!

You also must be in the area with the most enemies, you have more possibilities for an aberration to spawn there. They have not nerfed it because i did try it again. Listen the process for this to work, is to find an elite (doesn't matter which one i just choose the mage because is easy to loop him and he isn't so dangerous) keep him alive and loop him wait for a few waves, if no Aberration spawns restart from checkpoint repeat, if nothing happen again in a few turns you probably aren't in the right spot of the map, try a different spot or change the map. If you do it right and the game glitch there should be a wave with Aberrations like in the video.

@@WereUlv gotcha. yea I’ve tried it with 3 diff elites, not just the mage. I did go to diff parts of the map, but maybe not THE right spot. thx!

@tuhlunksss It needs a bit of try and error but eventually you will find it and unfortunately it's the only way to get shards unless an event happen again.

Didn't update now allows for both versions of regular and corrupted weapons in inventory? I just beat shahala for material and made a new nebula. Though corrupted nebula I would argue still useful as nanobots can crit essentially reseting the status effects you can put on it with a mutator

Yes you can have both corrupted and non-corrupted version of the guns at the same time. You have to make the gun corrupted and go find it again in order to have them both.

I see thanks for trying, i know that is different for ps5 and xbox i had similar comments, but do me a favor dude. When you have time go back there and start looping him wait 4-5 waves if no Aberration comes use liquid escape and start from checkpoint, if no Aberration comes on the second try, repeat this step 5-6 times. Eventually i think a wave of Aberration will come if not then it's confirmed that on consoles doesn't work. If you do all this please come back here and post your results.

@@WereUlv That's what I was doing. I don't think this works on consoles. Our best bet for us console players is to wait for the next aberration event.
