We explored the remote area of Chimenticook stream and the St. John river. Cory and Gracie- / @themainewoods Special thanks to Billy Hafford for shuttling our vehicle.
Gracie was sure wanting a taste of that Muskie! 🤣 Jake & Cory, you two sure work together nicely, on your trips and videos. I sure enjoyed this video and have seen all of Cory and your videos. Love watching them and seeing the great Maine Woods!
Thank you for the Awesome Adventure❤ Brought back some memories when me and my best friend entered the Kenduskeag canoe race back in 92 or 93....:)? We came in 14th out of 75 canoe's....:) God Bless....
Great video, the camera work was very good, both in the boats and drone. I think you need to mic up Billy the shuttle driver next time, he seems like a good guy. 😂, as always, Thanks for such great content.
Nice trip. The rapids reminded me of some spots on our Allagash River Trip a few weeks ago. The water was high and fast. Intimidating the first day but learned to read them better each day and by the end of the trip it was more fun instead of all intimidating. As always, great video.
@@feenerproductions it has been a tough start of the season. Lost my Dad in April and 3 other family members. Been tough going. There is nothing more I need right now than a canoe trip but that still seems not possible for a bit. Living through your videos right now man! I really liked that trip. Does Chimenticook stream dump up river of Big Black Rapids too? I sensed that the stream confluence is past Big Black but before Big Rapids.
Can't believe y'all pulled in a muskie on first cast. Would this river (Chimenticook Stream) be runnable in a normal year at this time, or did you explicitly take advantage of our crazy rain this year? Also where do you source your poles from?
Thanks for the comment. A little of both, the water is high for this time of year, but if your handy with a setting pole I think it could be done... Maybe. Cory's pole was a homemade from Spruce, mine is an old turned Ash Snow and Nealley which I don't think are in production anymore, but Peavey makes one very similar in Ash.
