This is the first time I think Bob Eubanks came upon contestants who talked back/were smart a**es to him but Bob took it in stride. @15:42 David: "Before we were so rudely interrupted." Bob: "Hey! Hey! You are just a contestant. Ok? You just answer the question" Which made David have to apologize David: "I'm sorry" And @16:50 when Ted said "No I think you're wrong Bob" and "You have your own show. Let Ken do his business" Then Bob came back with a zinger "Don't, don't, don't let your mouth write a check, your butt can't cash" LOL OMG! Eubanks can hold his own with those college "kids"
This was a strange one. That guy was like four years older than the other two; a distinct advantage when it comes to geek trivia. It looked like an adult playing against kids. Great having Eubanks there!
good grief Lisa just kept Hitting the Others every time they got an answer right. Instead of Hitting them she should have either tried or just be faster on the buzzer and answer herself. talk about rude.
was thinking the same thing. the show encouraged the contestants to do that sort of thing before the episodes began, but she was just way overboard with it.
Eubanks worked with Jane Nelson on DIamond Head Game and Lacey and Suzannah on Card Sharks and Debbie Bartlett on Dream House. Card Sharks was still on the air at the time this aired :) I think some 1987-88 episodes of Newlywed Game had guest models to show the prizes, some female, some male. Now get Eubanks and some of the other living 50s-80s hosts to show up on Steve Harvey or any of the other 21st century hosts.
