I've seen modules exactly like this, but they say '12V' in the description. You used a 9V. Is 12V just a maximum or can it use a lower voltage?

I ordered this same module from aliexpress and I tried to use it, but it isn't working. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I wired it to an Energizer Max 9v battery (the light turned on) and on the other end I tried to put it on a buzzer. I put the positive cable of the buzzer to the NO and the negative to the COM and nothing happened when I clicked the buttons. I do hear a click from the switch when I click the button, but the buzzer did nothing. I switched the position of the cables for the buzzer and it never turns on. What is wrong?

It's a switch, not a power supply unit.

@@vishalsingh-he7cw Yeah I figured out how to work it a very long time ago. Also on how to work it all with just one battery as well. But two batteries is better since it adds less strain on the single battery.

@@vishalsingh-he7cw Unless you turn the switch on, the NC (Normally Closed) is always on. So let's say you have a lightbulb like in the video but instead of putting the wires in the NO and Common, if you put it in the NC and Common it will turn on even if the relay is not energized. So if you do put the battery for the relay and turn it on, it will actually turn off the light in that case, and if you leave it as is, once the battery no longer has the charge to energize the relay, the switch will close again. It will also close if you remove the battery.
