Despite a few technical difficulties, this was a lot of fun to watch. Sadly there was no Luigi, so we could not get a real life Death Stare. Recorded during Full Sail University Hall of Fame Week.
Lol imagine if that happened in the wild. A predator gets it's prey down and is about to strike, but a random referee comes out of nowhere and tells it to stop.
@Sidney J. Duffy well if yoshi is injured in this battle (fall down), and if the referee (lady) pause the game and let him get up and play once more.. doesn’t that mean the lady making yoshi play after he got injured (fall down) ? does that mean the referee is abusing yoshi ? technically using your logic, if yoshi is injured (pinned down) then he should be subbed or disqualified from the game, am I correct ? but instead of subbing yoshi, the lady let yoshi play, and rigged the game in favour of yoshi, so that yoshi didn’t lose and have a chance at winning. that was unfair, that’s why the rule in this mario kart game is bad. bad rules.
RU-vid recommending this to everyone now 2 years later because Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit was released, which makes sense because this is relevant to said game
She's correct though, cars with spikes attached to them are a safety hazard when she's inside the cage. When she says stop, it means STOP or your off the game.
Elias Laiho doesn’t change that fact that she killed the vibe. She picked up a very ugly attitude (unprofessional), when she could have very well walked up to him and asked him to stop instead of yelling like he’s some type of child. Also I’m sure she did not pick up an attitude bc she was concerned about her safety, she has shoes on for crying out loud.
@@johnnyp1986 Why walk up to the contestant? They can clearly hear her, and yet they are not complying. If this was any other sport, it would not be considered rude, so why here? By the definition it's professional. You tell the person to stop, several times even (I counted past 5 times) and then you tell the ultimatum that if they continue they will be kicked off. You must listen the referee.
Elias Laiho did you not read my reply? 😂 my point had nothing to do with whether she was doing her job or not. The entire point was the ugly attitude that she picked up. “They can clearly hear her,” have you thought that maybe they didn’t and that’s why they kept going?? If that’s the case then simply walking up to the contestant rather than being rude would be the better choice to do. “By the definition it’s professional,” in what way is being rude professional? As an employee of any establishment you must keep your composure and not be rude to any customer. She was doing her job and did it poorly, she yelled at the customer, gave the customer an attitude, and out of anger (which is made obvious with her tone) threatened to kick out the customer. She killed the vibe.
@@sediew yeah, without rules, it would be so much better! I would be able to step in and pop the balloons myself or attach tons of pins to the kart so I have an advantage.
Not Mario kart live home circuit but this would be even cooler if it was I can imagine mklhc tournaments with four tv's showing off everyone's screens while they race on homemade courses!
That lady who shouted at them is that type of person who recreates something from a game or a movie and wants it to be as perfect as it is originally. That’s kinda cringe
To be fair, she's seems to be the host so her game, her rules unfortunately. Also, it was obvious that he wasn't actually gonna pop Yoshi's 🎈 as he only rammed into his side.
@@sediew What I mean is that this is like that Mario Party minigame. In Battle mode your car doesn't have spikes or a spear. I know it's a recreation of the balloon battle mode of MK, but in my point of view it reminds me more to the Mario Party minigame.
Damn, that lady hit my nerve when she said "I'm about to kick you out the game". How are you gonna enjoy playing after that? The guy should've went ahead and done it anyways.
I know right? Like if the kart flips that should be what happens. The kart flipped, so the other guy should win, they shouldn't go put the kart back upright. That was honestly stupid, the other guy should've won.
@Sidney J. Duffy TIL that a large majority of people disagreeing with you is called a circlejerk. i mean it doesnt take a scientist to notice that nobody was having as much fun after she butted in
@@jaredvise117 yeah well when you have to tell a guy to stop like 8 times and he doesn’t listen who has a sharp ass thing on his kart and is ready to stab you cuz he’s “having fun” would you not take that seriously?
Man, videogame graphics are so impressive nowadays. This footage from this new Mario Kart game looks so hyperrrealistic that it almost looks like real life.
I think everyone there wanted her to be there. She was acting as a referee. Nobody wants to lose because their car got flipped or their remote randomly started malfunctioning.
Nintendo sent a cease and desist letter to everyone in that parking lot and the parking lot itself before they even finished. Then they released their own.
lady these ballons are gonna be popped one way or the other. how come you didnt reattach that blue balloon that fell off donkey kong huh? what happened to his chance at winning; i call shenanigans are at play here!
That referee COMPLETELY RUINED IT. Marios kart was moving back and forth as a joke as if to pop the balloon even though he wasn't going to. There will always be people to ruin fun for other people. Thats just the world we live in.
Nintendo: Hey can I copy your homework? NumberOne#1: Yeah sure, just make sure to change it up a bit so it's not obvious Nintendo: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit!
@@ThornyFox it just... doesnt satisfy me, im not a toxic person so dont assume that either many people also know its overused and hate it, i dont care what u say, i am just saying... *was it necessary to bother me when i didnt do anything to u?*
I absolutely can't stand the lady who interjected, and I wasn't even there. Sure, maybe she was manager of the event or something, but Mario used a completely fair method to gain an advantage over his opponent. In ANY of the Mario Kart games, forcing your opponent to stop, and leaving them vulnerable, is not cheating. Absolutely ruined my hype for the match.
The lady was so annoyed, cars must flip over often because there’s no reason for someone to be so -*redacted*-- to a bunch grown men Totally killed the vibe
I mean, the referee could have been nicer. She just killed the fun. Yeah you gotta inforce the rules, but she should have been nicer. She could have over exaggerated in a comedic sense like “Woah woah woah! You can’t hit Lakitu while they’re bringing back a player”
Woah not just the Mario Player but it seems the whole crowd's vibe got killed with the lady getting all pissed. Those pencils would not hurt her with the type of shoes and pants she has on. The situation seemed kind of unfair but she didn't have to act that way.
