I recently placed an order for two duffel bags. I currently own the RD backpack and a couple of roll top bags. I have been very happy those bags and look forward to receiving my duffel bags.

Awesome first look! Looking forward to seeing how it performs for you out on the river on a trip. That's what it's all about! To clear up a few of the features, those side straps are for attaching things like fishing poles, paddles etc., or attaching the bag to your kayak. They could be tensioner straps but I never use them like that. That extra interior strap is actually a hip belt for getting the duffel from your vehicle down to the river. Sometimes those can be decent hikes down and having the comfort of a hip belt is key to distribute the weight from your shoulders to your hips. Cheers!

@GatewoodBrown ohhh, OK. That makes sense on those side straps. Good idea for carrying paddles. And I did figure out later what the extra interior strap was for (after the video was completely done). Lesson learned on my first product review - figure out ALL the features before starting the video! LOL. You'll be seeing the duffel pop up in my next overnight float video. :)

Man, that looks like a really great bag! I have slept in a wet sleeping bag before and it was miserable! That price for a bag that will likely hold all of your gear and keep it dry is not so bad to help make sure you can sleep warm and comfy instead of cold and wet!!!!

Man I hear ya there. All it takes is one trip with a wet tent/sleeping bag to make you consider different dry storage options haha. Stoked to have you consider the duffel!
