Good advice Kurt! When at home I use staton mode on the ZWOAir plus to get extra distance from my home Wi-Fi ,which works well. I recently had problems with the mosaic function on the ZWOAir plus a silly boyhood error (all ready had a plan setup just had to delete) That what happens when you start rushing things,as you mentioned take your time and check. CS my friend Tam.

Thanks for the info about the station mode Tam. I have a wifi extender which works really well. Cheers Kurt

ZWO has it on special for $89 rather than $99 although they will probably charge shipping. One of the main reasons for the extender is it will give some aded protection the camera will not hit the tripod legs. Cheers

Glad I found your video. I want to do this for outreach next month. I will cast my tablet to a Smart TV for public viewing. I mostly wanted to see if you needed the calibration frames. Good to see you do not, it will make things simpler. Thanks.

Hi Kurt. Question/Opinion: I just purchased an ASIAIR MINI to help me reduce my power needs when i go remote imaging. Ill be running an AVX mount and an ASI533 (without cooling). In your experience, do you think a 17 amp/hr (Harbor Freight 😊) car jump battery would give me 3-4 hours of capture time? I always enjoy your videos. 👋

Thanks Tom. The important thing for batteries is it should be a Deep Cycle (Marine type) as these batteries have a consistant power flow until they run dry. The 17 amp/hour should be good enough for 3-4 hours. Those Celestron Power Tanks are only 7Ah. My new one is 20Ah and ~$75 on Amazon. Cheers Kurt
