I want to do it on zoom but i don't know how to record the audio and the video both at the same time without interrupting the meeting Please help if you can ??? all I have is a android device and a old pc (Pentium 4 2 gb ram)
Building a RU-vid a channel in 2021 is gonna be difficult. You're gonna fail, post videos that get no views, and you'll be slow to get subscribers. However, the biggest mistake you can make is quitting. If you stay consistent, if you work hard, and if you put our quality content, you'll have no choice but to grow. Let's smash out 2021, yeah? 💪🏻
@ThreeTwentyTech busy! Running multiple online businesses, getting into a few new traffic methods (mostly paid) and Forex trading. Also trying to grow my new RU-vid channel called "GrayMoney". What about you?
100% I started my channel when the pandemic started. I have already monetized, have sponsors, and get paid with affiliate programs. I'm still relatively small, but consistency is key!
I just want to say don't get overwhelmed. Just do it. If Zoom is the only option you can afford right now, use Zoom. Then if you decide to continue podcasting, invest more into equipment and subscription services. Just start with creating content, that's what I plan to do.

So glad I opened someone else’s video for this same topic and it showed this one in the suggested videos! As always, Omar and Think Media are on point!
Wow were you guys reading my mind?? I legit was just talking about this yesterday because I’m brand new here and have SO much to learn! Awesome tips, I’m going to use this on my first podcast. Also I watched your video on using a phone for a webcam and shared it with a friend. Thank you so much!
I Love Pop Punk Podcasts And Starting To Create My FIrst DIY Interview Video Podcast Featuring People From A Community Who Saved My Life Really, Its A Way I Can Find Give Back To The Community And Engage, But I'm Really Nervous But Excited For This Future Project!
Great Streamyard commercial. Used it for a while but switched to Mellon. ALOT cheaper and they dont nickle and dime you to stream to multiple platforms or to stream in 1080.

Can you do a video on the whole process of the last suggestion. Such as how to set up, edit, sync, etc? I am so challenged in this regard lol I need it dumbed down to step by step basics.
0:43 1) video conference software, e.g. Zoom (Google Hangouts discontinued late 2022) 2) 1:56 livestream platform, e.g. ecamm Live, OBS Open Broadcaster Software, Discord, StreamYard 3) 4:16 record video on both sides, process in post-production - much more involved: multiple cameras, audio setup
Great stuff Omar and the Think Media team! Drippy crispy! I hadn't thought about setting up a camera whilst doing an interview on Zoom 😃 See you tonight at the end-of-challenge celebration party! 🎈
⚠⚠BEWARE - I just followed the link in the description for the streamyard app, and it sent me to a download of the "Chromnius" browser, which it turns out is an ad network scam, and malware!
It's too late. I already sent success your way. Its coming. And there's no way to stop it! May your worries wash away & all your RU-vid dreams come true! 💗Dr. Liz
This was incredibly helpful . We listen to Interviews from podcast that cover business and lifestyle subjects . Earn your leisure is a great one and ours (All In Audio Experience) is too!
Does it have to be in a “live stream” with stream yard?!…or can I just use the platform and record the conversation between you and another person while being remote? (Without it being live)
Love to watch you guys . Always helpful. I'm a fan of All in Podcast. How do you think they produce their show to get this quality. Launching a new show here in Montreal but all of our guests will be remote. No studio. I still want to put out there a quality production. Any tips ? Merci. Serge
Should i post my podcast interview on my main channel? I’m afraid it will take away from the cinematic edits that usually associated with me and it will damage my RU-vid algorithm if not as many people watch it or watch it as long as usual. Thanks for your help!
nothing wrong with experimenting - if you think of your channel like a network there are different shows but they stay on topic - ie HGTV - if it lines up with your audience's interest, we would encourage you to try!
pHumblepodcast: a podcast about togetherness and purifying the mind, which welcomes all walks of life and has humor intertwined the episodes. The common thread throughout the episodes is mental health and love. I like comedy, educational, and true crime podcasts!
Hi, thank you so much for your videos they are really insightful ! quick question: if you get a webcam but the person you're interviewing doesnt, won't it bring out two different camera qualities? Is there a solution for that? Thank you !
Really interesting. I'd like to see a whole interview video that's been made with these techniques. I'm interested in how good these remote interview videos can be in terms of editing and quality. The example cited at 4:37 "This example I did with Nolan" is this a whole clip I can see somewhere please ? Are there any other good examples of this approach in action ?
I'm interviewing busy professionals who don't have audio setups (they are not podcasters). How do I get good quality audio from my guests? What is the least expensive, easiest way to get good audio that's better than typical computer audio. I'm willing to send equipment ahead of time - but need some guidance and of all the videos I've seen, no one is addressing this
Hey Jennifer! This is a tough one. Alot of guests aren't going to have more than their ear pods, or some crappy usb mic. Plus, if they don't have the right computer settings, aren't talking into the right part of the mic, or if the room has hardwood floors / high ceilings ..your sound quality isn't going to be great. The best thing you can do is interview them in person with decent mics and an external recorder. If not, alot is going to have to be done in post. You want to make sure you have separate audio tracks as well. Zencastr and Squadcast do this. But ya, to clean up crap audio is going to have to be done in editing software. Does this help? :)
Hey man! This is great and thank you, but quick question for the streamyard option, how can I get audio from let’s say RU-vid video I am reacting to and audio from my mic? Thanks!
So am i right to say, either you or the other person will have to send all the files over, for you to edit the video together if you decide to go down the route of using external cameras?
Would this setup work if you're trying to do a reaction channel remotely? Basically watching something together and being able to display the video your reacting to along with both you and the other host being visible?
Hey I would like to start a podcast but I would like to record online . Should I still invest into professional microphone . My guest will not have access to a professional microphone . I will be doing this over zoom . Thank you all in advance
With Streamyard are you able to cut to different video sizes for social media? I know riverside makes it very easy to use different size formats for a hard post, story, or YT.
I want to do it on zoom but i don't know how to record the audio and the video both at the same time without interrupting the meeting Please help if you can ??? all I have is a android device and a old pc (Pentium 4 2 gb ram)
what if you only need to upload audio and don't need livestream or video. is it worth going for streamyard or riverside still? And do you still need to get a seperate audio interface w/an online interface?
Hey, nice video but how do you make sure that the audio quality is also why though the paid platforms for remote interviews? And how do you edit after in post production?
I tried to do Zoom and it only recorded the person receiving the call... any advice? I couldn't even hear the person who sent the link so basically it was 1 person talking to themselves.
