For the last few nights, I was unable to use my adjustable base because i couldn’t reset it until watching this video tonight. I'm jumping on the top comment just to share one more thing that this video didn't have, but solved my problem after none of these tips worked. You can "reconnect" (not pair) the remote by holding leg up and down simultaneously for 3-5 seconds.

I contracted a terrible cold and slept in the upright position so I could breathe and wanted the remote close by so I kept in the bed with me. I tried looking online for a manual, and they were all for the Ease 2.0. Apparently releasing the child lock changed between 2.0 and 3.0. For 2.0, you press and hold the foot up and foot down buttons. For 3.0 you press and hold the head down and foot down buttons until it blinks, then press and hold the head up and foot up buttons until it blinks. Thank you for the video!
Your video just saved me a from setting my bed on fire. I accidentally slept on the remote and it quit working. Watched your video and discovered it went into lockout mode. Problem solved. Thanks!!!

We got it up and unplugged it from the charger (where the green light is) rather than from the wall as they told me. Then the blue light came on underneath and we were good to go...Your video is a blessing. I hope you receive a Blessing in return...

My cat stepped on the remote and locked it and I now have one small cat available for adoption after this whole process. 🙂 Why can’t they install the control panel closer to the edge so people don’t have to wedge themselves under the bed for a “simple” reset?

Thank you for this tutorial! I don't even have this manufacturer's frame. I have a completely different brand, and I couldn't remember how to pair my remote. As soon as you said to push the head up, leg up buttons, the light bulb in my head went on, and I remembered that's what I needed to press to pair my remote. THANK YOU!!

Oh my gooooodnesssssss I woke up in the middle of the night because I rolled onto the remote and accidentally put the head up too high. Then the remote stopped working!!!! Your video helped me solve it. It was ultimately a child lock issue. All the manuals I found online said that child lock was unlocked by holding the foot up and down buttons at the same time until it blinks twice - which did nothing. Your video told me to press the head and foot down at the same time until it flashed once and then head and foot up at the same time until it flashed once. That solved it. I’m so mad that the official manuals had the wrong instructions.
haha I wish, paid $4k for a Breeze and got stuck in the upright position and had the worst sleep. I really shocked at how many people actually have this issue .... mind blowing!

Dude! You have no idea how you saved me. My adj base hadn't worked in 3 years and I've only had it 4 years. I am going to have esophageal surgery soon and need to be able to sleep at a 30 degree angle for the rest of my life and thought I was going to have to invest in a new base, but following your video fixed my bed in 20 seconds. My mother has this exact bed and for the past week, she's been frustrated trying to get the head and legs to raise. The damn remote locked. You sir have saved me! Remote stopped working last night with the back of bed raised. Woke up with a horrible back ache. Called Sealy, was on hold for 17 minutes, then they sent me to voicemail. What a crock. Shows what they think of their customers. During the 17 minutes on hold they offered a call back option of one business day. I opted to stay on hold and the reward after that was to be redirected to voicemail with a two business day call back. Not sure I will ever buy a Sealy product again. You are brilliant, solving a difficult issue. Thanks again.
iLived 5 years in Iceland, lived and worked in Reykjavik,I am Danish so for me, it wasn't a huge culture difference, but it sure was for the amazing Nature and wildlife., sadly it's very expensive living there. I especially loved to go to "sund" in the evening and enjoy the hot pools outside while snow was falling down...OMG,I have so many good memories from my time there. Hope to go back again soonOne of the thing I remember from a month-long visit to Germany a few years ago was how I was able to find some really, really good deals on food at the grocery story. Usually it was stuff that simply had to be sold that day or thrown away, and it was marked down considerably. If you wanted to, you could simply walk to the grocery store every day, buy whatever was on sale, and just make a day's worth of meals out of that.

It was with great relief that I watched this video. I asked for a replacement controller for Christmas since "the boy side" controller got lost somehow. The wife did not provide tech support. Clue: neither does dialing the 1 800 customer service number - terminal hold. Older videos talked of pressing the reset button on the power unit. This finally gave the correct answer. Thank you.

Thank you. I have a Stearns & Foster mattress that includes the EASE adjustable frame. Unlocking the child-proof lock did the trick for me. Recognizing the EASE remote was helpful, because I knew the instructions would be specific for me.
one more option which i learned today.. 1. first remote light has to on when we click any button. 2. press head down and foot down together for 6 seconds and light will blink for once.. 3. then head up and foot up for 6 seconds light will blink for 2 times. after that it starts working..

This video was a lifesaver because the Ease 3.0 is newer and none of the other videos are for this model. Also mine was in child proof mode and video shows how to shut this feature off. Well done !!

I think my control module is toast as the reset attempt didn't work - but the direct current trick worked and I was able to lower the head of the bed. Thanks random internet bed-fixing guy!!
OMG!!! I fell asleep on it and must have put it in the child lock mode....and of course you guessed it! It was locked in the upright position and killing my neck and back!!! I called customer service but because of hurricane Ian......they are closed!! So I decided to come to the University of GOOGLE and your video popped up!! Dude! My hero! I had some kind of short so I had to use your battery solution. I didn’t have the techie tool you had so I got a 9 volt and used electrical tape to secure paper clips to the nodes! I felt like MacGyver! Also might warn peeps that the battery got pretty warm! But my daughter can stop sleeping in her own bed again! You are awesome!
Yes, I had that same issue lol. Except I misplaced my manual and found it shortly afterwards. I was able to find the version 2.0 but, not the 3.0 I figured a video was due ;) Glad it worked out!

This was awesome - wow i frame stopped working after batteries ran out. New batteries didn't help. No other video had the depress combination that you had to get out of child lock. That worked and fixed my bed at 12:30 AM. thanks again.

One of the things the technician told me when I went through the call was..... IF you sleep on the remote aka push all the buttons down with your body. It can be the cause for it to go into "child proof mode". Just something they said to me.
