Fix for the crackling Chiaki audio: Delete or archive the qtaudio_windows.dll file in the \audio directory of the root Chaiki folder. Set audio bitrate to 7200 No more blotchy/stuttering/skipping audio.
@Toma Did you change the audio buffer size to 7200 as well? That usually fixes the delay for everyone. If so then maybe try playing around with other bitrates. There is also a lengthy thread on their github discussing it
@Toma Fair I do prefer using sony's app on my 9.00 Slim (it does look nicer), but beggars can't be choosers and on my Pro 5.05 I had to use Chiaki and the audio was terrible without the fix. Chiaki can even wake up my Pro while it's in rest Mode Later...
Need to correct what was said at 8:57. You can still remote play into your console after a restart on local accounts without GoldHEN active. As long as the console has already been registered. You just can't re-register the console without GoldHEN running. To do that you still need an activated account.
Thank you for this great video. I'm using sony's app with my 9.00 Slim and Chiaki with my 5.05 Pro. Sony's older version + patch didn't work well for me, so I tried Chiaki and used Mike's audio solution to fix the crackling. PS: I used your older videos to do my 5.05 Pro. Also, Chiaki's link is older here (1.3.0), so I used the updated 2.1.1 version instead
@@MODDEDWARFARE can t register too. Chiaki works fine on win linux and macos on my hand. Using the same base64 string id on all os but on android it refuse to connect
Something to note is that if you are creating a new PSN account through the given URL from the Chiaki script, you will need to complete the personalize account steps (without skipping) or the the URL will be invalid even though the page reflects "redirect".
Just a quick tip for you, you do not actually need to forward the port. It is bad practice to open anything to the internet as a regular user and it increases the chances to being potentially attacked more likely. Anyways the fritzbox offers internal vpn support feature allowing you to connect to your local network over vpn by the fritzbox internal vpn server (does not work when connecting to dsl-lite tunnel here in germany)
Also: Connecting over vpn should also allow native playstation remote play application to work propperly even when not being physically in your local network but connected to your network over vpn (not tested, correct me if I am wrong)
So (curious this hasn't been asked yet), if there's the option to use this on a PS5 "remoting" into a PS4, does this actually mean you can use a retail PS5 to play jb'n PS4 games remotely @ModdedWarfare ?!?
Is there a way yet for the whole package? 1. Send magick package to PS4 to turn it on 2. connect via remote play 3. enable gold hen remotely I can't imagine a scenario where anything less is conveniently usable :D

When I did web activation it kept trying to update my fpkg games and I would cancel. I reverted the user back to the default (0000000000000000/AAAAAAAAAAA=) which seems to have made me lose my trophies. So I did the offline activation to see if I'd get them back and I didn't. Anyway to recover the trophies? I let the update go through on one game and now its unplayable because it requires a higher firmware. Doesn't appear to be a way to revert either.
Hello! Question: So I have a jb PS4 with tons of games. then I just bought a PS5 today.. Since I dont have any games on my ps5 yet... Can I remote play my ps4 games to my ps5? like I will play on my ps5 console and enjoy all my games on my JB ps4. is that possible? ultimately, is it safe? would my ps5 detect that I am connecting it to a JB ps4? would it affect my ps5? like get banned or something?

I was just trying to follow your guide for PS4 System 7.51 but it already fails with the Remote Play Installer that won't let me install the programme due to the error: "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package'". I tried to install the newer Remote Play Exe and another programme and it is not returning this error.
This works until i successfully connects my ps4 to my laptop, however it auto switched off my BT controller, if i enabled or switched on my bt controller it disconnects me in my laptop. Yes but the PlayStation official remote play app will have wrong buttons while playing, so is unplayable. But you can use PsPlay on Android and that is ok because I use it to play on PS4 with PS5 controller. PsPlay is a paid app is not free. Good luck!

Is there any way to remote play on my vita without needing a pc to get it working? I found another video that just turned on Hen and then a remote play payload, but I get an error on both systems after entering the code, it refuses to connect. My ps4 is on 9.00, using a local account.
Chiaki crashes on mine, it detects the ps4, it can put it out of Rest mode even, but when I try to click it and play it, the entire app just crashes, how do you fix this?
This doesn't work anymore via the official remote play app now. I set up the account id same as console to PSN, with the offline activator etc. On Iphone so Chiaki not a possibility.
I am using un-moded ps4 remote play via ps vita. My problem is i unchecked the direct connect via ps vita but my ps vita still direct connect to it. Because i am 1 room away from the ps4 and i want it to remote play via LAN. Both of them on same network. Ps4 direct to LAN ps vita wifi to the same router. Please help. Thanks in advance.
I hope someone answers this: I am on 7.55 and I tried the normal Login on the Remote Play iPad app via PSN Account and then adding the device. It doesn’t work bc it says “couldn’t find console”. Why does it work on PC with Chiaki, but not on iPad with the official app. Is it bc I blocked Sony DNS? Or is it bc the PSN account on the iPad is not known to my PS4?

Is this possible?? If you setup a remote play device, then after restarting the ps4, can we automatically connect via remote play? Here Modded_Warfare shows that after restarting he had to reconnect windows client with PIN. is it possible to automatically connect after the first setup??
