You can also do it using the live stream through RU-vid and Google Hangouts. To do this you: 1. Click creator studio 2. Click live streaming 3. Click Events 4. Click new live event and fill out the event info 5. If you want the event to be private and therefore unavailable to the public until you want it to be, go to the bottom of the page. Where is say public click private or unlisted in the drop down bar. 6. Click go live now 7. Google Hangouts will open in a new window. Navigate to the top and click the 3rd icon from the left which is a video camera with a slash through it. This will turn off your webcam. 8. On the left there should be a vertical bar with icons on it. Click the second one which is a green screen with an arrow on it. It should say 'screen share'. When you are done click the red phone to leave the call. You should be able to see you new video on RU-vid in you creator studio. I believe you can edit it on RU-vid too.
