Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 10 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have two boys named Luke and Leon and a new baby girl named Lyla. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 8 years.

Such a great video, Lilly. Thank you for sharing your family adventure with all of us. I have used a Thai toilet on my two visits to Thailand just after the Tsunami. I was with a medical mission team and we were able to assist in a remote village in the Southern area. It was life changing for me to be there. I loved all the Thai people as they were so welcoming even after such a tragedy. It was hard to see their suffering as so many lost family members. God bless you and your family. Keep pushing forward, Lilly. It’s not easy losing a parent, but it will get better with time. 🙏🩷

Hello. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to lose a beloved mom or parent. She was a nice part of your RU-vid channel journey. I don't have parents that have engendered such love in our relationships, but I have a lot of compassion for all who may have experienced such a huge loss. I lost an aunt that was a key family member, 3 years ago, and she's a missing part of our lives. Honestly, it's been awhile since I've enjoyed one of your videos; that's partly, because of what's currently going on in my life. I actually met Susan many years ago in Annapolis, Maryland at her restaurant café Normandy on Main Street.. she was so kind to us while we were having dinner she was such a loving and genuine person.. I have slept on a mat on the floor and done my laundry outside in a large basin 40 yrs ago in Thailand. It humbles you. Enjoy the adventure. Memories your family will cherish forever. I know she would. Even when she was near to the end she tried to communicate to me to go and edit my video. She was so proud of me and she loved being apart of it and meeting fans in person. I miss her so so much ❤️🙏

Yes just take care of you....and it is great your mom said don't work too hard .....none of us know how long we get so take time to enjoy your journey ...you can't do that if you work work and work. You will get there Lilly ....losing your parents is a big shift....but we all have to go threw it. We all do healing differently.

I'm Thai and have been watching your video since your early years. I got used to seeing your mum, who was a part of your video when she came to see you in Thailand. I feel very sad to learn that your mum passed away with brain cancer. Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother. Her love and guidance will forever be in your heart, and her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her. I like rustic adventures myself. It pushes me into experiences that get me out of my comfort zone.
