What brand and model was the inside spring compressor? Is that a bearing under the adjusting bolt head? Thx

I'll have to check when I get back home. Don't recall anything stamped on the compressors - I've owned them a long time. Yes that's a bearing. Have you checked Summit Racing?

Did this fix the tire rubbing issue? I installed larger tires on my 67 Mustang and am experiencing the same issue.

For the most part - it did. A big enough bump and the fenders will still hit the tires. But it had gotten to the point where even small bumps were causing the problem.

Did you have to cut the jack screw/bolt to get that compressor to work? The bolt is bottoming out hitting the spring perch on mine.

I did have to run the compressor as high in the spring as I could in order to keep it from bottoming out. I also released the tension from the anti-roll bar (mentioned that in the video) to allow the upper control arm to move down further (which allows the spring to decompress more fully, which allows you to get that compressor higher in the coils).

@@bretthusselbaugh1198 good point about the UCA's being in the lowest point. I have the sway bar out of the car. As best as I can judge from your video, that bolt does look a bit shorter. I will give it a go anyway. Thanks for the reply.

I'll add this hack for the long bolt spring compressor that I found last night in case others run in to this issue. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T6GAAG4rd8k.htmlsi=QAPGYJM2VquA__HB

Thanks for the feedback - I'll keep it in mind when filming future videos. I'm pretty sure the end links are installed correctly.

Nice of you to conserve electricity by not lighting up the area where you're recording.

Thank you for finding fault and, of course, sharing it through your sarcasm.
