that worked, for an hour I was recording the voiceover, and after i heard how loudly I was breathing I felt like it was easier to redo the whole thing, than removing the breathing sounds individually, thank you a lot🙏

Legend, thanks for doing the key presses, I watched another tutorial about a key frames and the guy was just adding key frames everywhere without saying what button he was pressing it was so confusing they were just appearing everywhere. Keep up the good work!
Ah, the only issue I had was that it also killed the background noise. As I was on location this was a bit of a deal breaker. The technique worked a charm though, but it removed everything.

@@JamesPrinceEN Thank you James. I am fine when doing a voice over or working on a static video, but I was hoping to find a way to reduce the sound when I am moving, hiking. But. the information you offered will definitely help, I have needed it in the past and spent a lot of time manually taking out some of the sounds that got through. Good video, it was to the point.
I dont know but for some reason it is not working in my premiere pro. I tried to change the values but there is 0 effect of the track. What might be the issue?
it could happen if your audio level is too low. first compress the audio and add a limiter and increase the gain. Now try apply the effect to reduce breathing sound. also adjust the attack and release when you add noise gate

My issue is that I had a mic on two people, and while the lady was talking, the other guy, for some explicable reason, suddenly starts breathing like he's been runnning a mile :|
