Remove Room Noise from Vocals! (EASY) 🎙🎛

Another very free trick. If you are in a hotel, grab two pillows and hold them in your hands. Crowd the mic, meaning, hold a pillow on each side of the mic but not touching, almost like holding big ass headphones. The pillows absorb all of the roomy noise. I also use to hang a heavy blanket over my head, like a teepee. The roomy sound got absorbed by the blanket. If you are at home, do the same thing. I recorded like that for years before Kaotica came out with the eyeball. Even with the eyeball I was getting room noise. I grabbed two pillows and boom... It shrunk the space. Made the room smaller. Plus it was FREE!!!

Oh, yeah... Another thing to remember when recording in these noisy rooms. I had to adjust the mic sensitivity on my apollo twin x. I turned the mic down, the background room noise goes down. Since I'm doing rap, I can be loud. Even if the wave form is a small, but clear one. I can adjust the gain in pro tools by dragging the wave form up slightly. Room noise was drastically reduced. For free. (well, I bought pro tools a few years ago)

Whats the best plugin to remove noise I’ve never had an issue but right now I have a picky client that still hears noise even when I don’t 😂so I need to know lol 🤣
