Solved/fixed: C:\Windows\system32\msiexec.exe Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. Using the example of Fallout Sonora.
This works in most cases: In my case I wasn't able to find it in both places with in the registry editor. So I just went to Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > Find the App and Click on Uninstall > Then Windows will ask you if you wanna remove the entry there ... worked for me 🔥
Absolute legend! Thank you so much. I was having trouble with libreoffice. I think I manually deleted its folder of contents thinking I downloaded the software as a zip, but it was through a normal executable instalation. Tried to install a newer version and couldn't do it because it couldn't "clean up" the old version. All works now and the old one is gone. Thanks!
Exactly what I needed. Thank you so much! I removed a hard drive and missed uninstalling a program I didn't realize was on it and windows locked it up. Would not let me add, remove or repair it. Looked all over online and couldn't find a way to fix it until I finally found your video.
Thank you so much!! I've been trying to get rid of a program for hours and watched dozens of tutorials but none helped... until I found yours. I've finally deleted the program, don't need to stress anymore. I was relieved once I saw that it had disappeared completely! I appreciate this very much!
Thank you so much I had performer lite 11.03 when I pulled up registry edit tho and got to uninstall... all files had weird names so I right clicked uninstall and hit find. Then I typed performer and it took me right to its folder with weird numbers and letters I double checked in data it said its name and some other things associated with it so I knew. Then you said you deleted the whole file so I did while I had apps pulled up. I went from 149 to 148 apps and it went from showing it to not recognize or finding. You're a legend. I'm clearing my lap top using chat gpt to make it run as fast as possible without moving anything important for key function speed, internet and so forth. It's going to be a lap top for only uploading video shorts of my music as well as eventually editing them. You're the best. You helped more than chat gpt on that one which is rare!
I wish I found this video 6 hours ago... I've spend all this time looking through forums and corsair since I was not able to delete the old corrupted files. Thank you thank you thank you and thank you!!!! Keep doing this type of videos to help the community!
Beautiful.. Thanks.. That actually worked. After about 30 minutes of tinkering and a bit of stress. I had to typ it into registry.. The driver I no longer wanted.. Which I downloaded an hour ago then realized I didn't want it. It wouldn't remove from apps and features. Then I was able to remove it from registry.. And it disappeared from apps and features also. Much appreciated.
Someone advise me reinstall the application and than uninstall them😂 there were some games which were above 30 GB.... Finally I got helped from you Thanks a Loot❤
OMG thank you so much! Also if anyone is having trouble finding it because of the encrypted looking names. Theres a file in nearly every one of them going by "Display name" that says exactly what it is. Hope this helps! Thanks again!
OMG thank youuu. I've tried a number of ways to delete a program but to no avail. Today I looked into the uninstall window and saw that application once again. Thankfully your vid was among the first to appear. Finally got rid of that pesky program, THANK YOU!!!

The registry has been removed but it didn't clear up storage. For context: I've installed RDR2 for a pirated website then i uninstalled it, the uninstall was completed but the registry was still there and also the storage didn't clear up. The same is happening with GTA V too. I tried reinstalling then uninstalling it again but it created a new registry and now i have 2 GTA registries. From which one is a ghost app and other one is working. 250+ GB of my 470 Gb ssd space is taken up by these non existing files. PLEASE HELP!!!
its deleted from add or remove programs but when i enter the local disk memory is still the same keep in mind that i got a trouble with gta 5 which occupies 112 gb of memory
I have installed IBM SPSS on my laptop and still unable to uninstall it, I tried following the video, did not find any file related to SPSS what should I do
This helped a lot. Delphi kept detecting a previous version that I manually deleted. So I couldn't install it since it kept on failing to delete the previous version. If any of my friends have trouble I know where to send them. :)
Problem I cannot find it I searched in each one and it's not there but it's wasting my space thinking that I have that app inside but I don't I deleted it manually
Does anyone know how to delete a software that cannot be found on the control panel, nor in the background apps? I can still see it runs in the task manager.... Why would this happen?
hi i wanted to delete valorant which has taken 619 gb on my laptop but it is stucked n isnt uninstalling and in this method the name is not showing valorant nor riot games only founded riot vanguard
I have a unique problem that yours & many others does not solve. I have a folder appearing in my Control Panel Window - 10bit Uninstaller- right click - it has no Application. I cannot delete it & I have deleted all 10bit software folders using thorough Regedit searches. Searchs for an empty folder has not found it. It is only a nuisance but it is annoying. Have you had a similar experience?
Thank you! I wanted to uninstall the original sims game from my computer and it either said catastrophic failure or gave me a bunch of errors, it tortured me for years😂
I have a windows 11, and whenever I go on " Apps " There is no Apps & Features. And I've been trying to download a not Microsoft available game, and I can't because My PC doesn't have this. I'm so confused-
The files are still covering up space on my computer, the only difference is now i cant see them in apps & features either. Some files are taking up around 300 gb of space so if anyone could help it would be apperciated.

All I did was move some folders trying to clean my desktop, and now what was once my default music player VLC, can't be found. I can still click on it and open it and it works fine from the toolbar, but I can't for the life of me see it anywhere else in my system, and when I try to uninstall it from control panel, it says it may have already been installed, that it cannot find it. What can be done about this, please help!
