How to remove the #N/A value from cells in excel which contain vlookup formulas. To do so, you need to use and IF statement and an ISNA function. This tutorial teaches you how to do that.

I'm using IFERROR function. eg: IFERROR(VLOOKUP(x,x:y,1),""). This will also return blank. I found this simple.

This or =IFNA(VLOOKUP(B4,B7,F16,2,FALSE),"") is better IMHO.

This is pretty slick - but is there a non-formula method for this now? i.e. something that simply converts all #N/A values on a sheet to desired value, or at least a column or row? This video is going on 12+ years old now and this seems like a really common issue

If I am not wrong. I think 1st Vlookup will determine if there is value with #N/A, it will be replaced with " "(blank space). Then the 2nd lookup will display the whole value in the column without #N/A. So first vlookup will remove the #N/A and the second will display the actual value. I hope that makes sense.

Now you can use this yea, but not in older versions of Excel - look at the Excel version in the video, I can't believe that's what Excel used to be like lol.
