Dealing with upper lip hair is a big task. We have to go to the salon and every month we have to spend money. If we are getting late and don’t have time to go to the salon what can we do? There are some natural ways to get rid of them easily at home only.
Many DIY hacks involving basic kitchen ingredients can help reduce hair growth on your upper lips. Here are the 5 tips.
1. Lemon and sugar
Lemon and sugar together work as a natural exfoliator. All you have to do is squeeze 1/2 a lemon and add one tablespoon of sugar in a bowl. Mix well and then heat it until it features a golden-brown color. Once done, cool it down and then apply as a wax. Peel it off against the direction of hair growth.
2. Baking soda
For this to work, add one tablespoon of baking soda in some water to make a paste. Now dab a small piece of cotton into it and rub it on your upper lip area to get rid of the hair. Let it stay overnight and scrub the following morning.
3. Yogurt, honey, and turmeric
Mixing yogurt, honey, and turmeric can make for an excellent scrub to remove upper lip hair. It dislodges the hair from follicles, making the skin clear, hydrated, and nourished. Simply mix one teaspoon each of honey and yogurt with one pinch of turmeric. Mix and apply or massage on the region. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes before you wash it with cold water.
4. Corn flour and milk
When you mix corn flour and milk, you attain a paste that can make the hair stick to it when applied to the upper lip area. It works as a peel-off mask when it dries on the skin, so ensure that you allow it to stay on your skin for a while. You can safely repeat this remedy twice or thrice a week.
5. Turmeric, besan and milk
Mix one tablespoon each of turmeric, besan and milk. Mix with fingers and then apply to the upper lip area. Wait for about 20 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
