Remove Windows accounts or change PC administrator passwords using command prompt. Windows 7,8 & 10 

Thank you sooooo much!!! I was having trouble getting good it to recognize my user name with a space in it. NONE of the other videos, articles, etc explained using quotations to get it to recognize the phrase. As someone who has never done anything like this, that is a HUGE point that a lot of others failed to mention. So simple and easy. Thank you!

It's been awhile since I have used the and prompt bypass and we couldn't figure out why it wasn't working and your video pointed out the quotations around the user name so we did that and it worked. James, thank you very much, all the other crap on the internet said nothing about pressing "shift F10" to open up the command file while using a standard startup disk. Worked first time and now I can finish up loading all my drivers and will be back in business in no time. Thank you again...

For anyone trying to find the admin password because someone has to enter a password for them for most things..just get a keylogger. Tell your parent you're getting some game so they give you the password for the install. Then just ask them for a password for something else after the keylogger 's installed, and just check the keylogger for the password. Simple

After watching about 20 vids, finally, this worked. The difference is the inverted commas. in other vids, they dont use the inverted commas. On my pc, i had to use it. Thanks a lot. you a star

For anyone and everyone who is stuck trying to open up their pc and trying various things such as hirens boot or kon boot to erase the password, this is by far the most straightforward method. It looks ugly at first but i assure you, this works 100%. The only thing you might need to change from what was typed into the cmd prompt, is where the drive is. In my case it was in the D drive not the C drive.

worked great. although i used Hirens Boot usb to enter the cmd prmpt and then followed the replacing of the sticky keys. Finally inside my laptop after three years. Thanks so much

Works on Toshiba Laptops that do not allow NON disk methods. All toshibas seem to require a disk to work. This in the only method I have been able to get to work. Many thanks!

'seen over 15 vids here. 'basically all the same as far as getting through back door with DOS; none of 'em worked and it took this vid for me to understand why... The prior password holder had TWO NAMES and YOU solved this by QUOTATION MARKS before and after so that the operating system can recognize as one. (5:40...) THANK YOU.

CMD prompt did not come up for me with a F10. However, if you go a bit further and hit cancel, the fifth option is CMD prompt.. Aside from that bump in the road, this tutorial is brilliant. I have CDs for hacking windows that don't always work (why I'm here now) and this is clean and easy, just simple!

After trying many various programs and sets of instructions, your walk through was the only one that provided enough information to bring me through the process easily. The only issue I ran into was my list vol command revealed a c: and d: drive. .I assumed c: was the one I was looking for until sethc.exe was not found-a quick Google search led me to some info that suggested trying d: instead. I did, and everything else fell right into place! so, thanks again. Great tutorial. I will be watching for more from you.

Hi, got a question. I have seen a few of these. After exiting diskpart, could you have entered C: (or whatever drive) or would you have to enter C: in diskpart , exit and then enter c: then \windows\system32 to get to the directory ???

Hi it wont let me get to the command prompt because it has an administrator password so when i try to reset the laptop it would ask to sign in the administrator password. Which i cant get into.

Will the shift key still open command prompt? After this process. How do I change that again to default.

Is it possible to setup a twin accounts with one user or single administrator account all at the same time that can not be seen online I have wondered what happens if when you have an old account from a administrative account on an old pc say window xp and you find your old password from your administrator account on that pc what will happen and is possible to do this on windows 10 version run your old account and Windows xp setup administrator account I have used my Hotmail account to to setup windows 10 but in the past I used this account to run Windows xp and 7 /8 using the same email address and different passwords. Does Windows 10 version have a secret administration username for fun old software from the Windows xp Times and 7 and 8 I often wonder if 32 bit programs can run with out changing things in 10?
