Amen to that…our forefathers built things that not only were beautiful but were built to last…unlike the ‘pull it down in 40yrs’ infrastructure of today
Beavers rarely reuse items from a previous dam, so that pile of sticks and mud is practically useless, unless they don't have more building material to cut down
watch a lot of these kind of videos taking down beaver dams and other stuff with excavators and do not understand why 95 % of the operators either buy or rent these without a thumb makes the job 100% easier. and very few on youtube have one. boggles the mind.
In Scandinavia, ppl dont use thumbs generally there is always a tilt rotor, but this is an older machine thus it only had a tilting addon unfortunatly =)
