Oh my gosh, thank you SO much for this video. I was convinced I had broken this $200 piece of equipment and nearly had a panic attack. Thank goodness it was such an easy fix!
I have a free solution for this. Use a toothpick instead. Insert the tip of the toothpick and rotate it counter clock wise. Piece of cake. Worked for me.
I was shocked to find out I am not the only one who had this very weird issue and now with makes sense. My mistake might have been strongly tightening the nozzle before. Thank you so much for this video
You saved my butt!! I was going to do this the old fashion way by using a left handed drill bit to extract the screw but I didn't even think to try and take it out with a flat head! One note for everyone is remove it as soon as possible as any paint or alcohol that drys up in between the threads will require more force to extract and possibly break it further.
Thanks for posting this. New to airbrush (not for cosmetics). I was a little too aggressive after a cleaning and broke my nozzle. Glad to know it’s an easy fix.
What a happy coincidence that I just bought a 64 piece screwdriver set at Walmart earlier in the week and my nozzle broke yesterday night. Thanks for the video. I just finished unscrewing the broken piece out of my airbrush.
Using an old, thick needle worked for me too! Imo, the wrench isn't even needed to attatch the nozzle. I broke mine with it, then just used my fingers to screw in the replacement needle. Worked like a charm after.
this happened to me in the middle of a project. with no time to spare I bought a new iwata neo to finish the job. now I will try and pull out my threads...hope it works...2 working air brushes would be great! !
Hi . I just bought ( LENCO AB - 302 ) airbrush , and i'm freaking out because i couldn't find any spare parts for this model , so my biggest concern is the ( fluid nozzle ) if you know if i can fit other airbrushes' nozzle in mine or if other airbrushes' nozzles fits other airbrushes ?
Hi memo zoom, We are not familiar with the airbrush you mention and our experience with airbrushing is suggesting that you need to source the parts from the same manufacturer. I hope this helps.
do not use a toothpick guys, it can snap. use the include airbrush needle. if you damage it, at least its replacable. a nozzle being stuck in the main body is not replacable.
Good video, but I won't recommend to do it with a screwdriver, I started doing it with that and the airbrush is now a little damaged. I removed it inserting the old needle until the end and twisting it until it was released. Best regards
OMG I have a 3 badger branded airbrushes and have never had any pro training my god is my world going to end, No do what iI did watch a few things on your fav channel ask somebody if you can
For someone doesn’t know why their nozzle doesn’t screw in like me. A small piece of it is broken and stuck inside. It’s too small to see but if you stick a sharp knife on the tip and spin counterclockwise. The broken part would come off
