people have been getting cleaver about the beavers, at least one dam got tricked into building around a drain plug so the water level could be dropped before it washed over the road
I will never believe I will watch this video for 30 minutes and enjoy it. This guy is just unbelievable wonderful. Thank you so much to make me relax watching your video.
“This log is covered in leeches.” (Grabs with bare hands) “Oh well.” 😂 This guy is great! Sees snakes. Swallows a fly. Dude, you’re funny, and an inspiration.
@Linda Pietrasz I've only heard him swear a couple of times, and that's how we know he's frustrated. There's something that makes me giggle when he says things like "turd" or "snot"... I guess cause it's so unexpected haha
@Linda Pietrasz I get it. I have a sister who never swears - I mean, this woman has never so much as said the word "fart" - and I admire her for that. We've become so accustomed to swearing that most people don't even react to the F bomb anymore. It's refreshing to hear someone speak the way Post 10 does (or doesn't, as the case may be).
A fortnight ago you were showing us ice and heavy snow, now it's nearly 100 degrees... crazy times. Ace video, as usual. Watch your back, tugging all those branches must put a strain on it and we need you fit and healthy 💚
New video game- Culvert Tetris™- First Person Non-Shooter game staring post 10. The beavers and the non-performing DOT bureaucrats are the monsters and villains. Get the water flowing before beavers and non-maintenance can keep them clogged. The wild card is the weather conditions. Who is in with me on this?
I'd play! :) There are also snakes, leeches, logs and rocks that are too big, and ripping pipes. And then there are the drains and splashing drivers... I also think SOME DOT's are good guys, so...random wild card?
@@SwirlingSoul I mentioned this about the DOT guys. We also need spiders, lots of spiders. Instead of a radiation suit like in Doom, we have an Arachnophobia Suit.
You’ve inspired me to service any type of culvert or drain I see. Everyone always thanks me for what I do but I always tell them why I started doing what I do. Thanks to people like us, the waterways will mostly always be taken care of properly and for the sustainable benefit of all the wildlife that rely on them
Right before you got soaked while tugging on that giant tree, I literally said out loud to myself alone in my house... "yo bro! You almost got it! it's moving!” And then later when you moved it, I said "YES!". So I might be talking to myself... but it's worth it. Keep up the good work. World needs more people like you just doing good for the greater good.
Two early predictions that came true: 1.) We weren't leaving until it was cleared and 2.) There would be no "waiting on the next storm to clear the pipe". Thanks for another good video. Everybody hit like for Post 10.
@@083purplecola Well, it's usually at something like a pile of leaves & sticks or a flooded street, not people, so its ok to point at those with a middle finger. I do. 😁
Make the logging companies pay to have the culverts checked and cleaned on a regular basis. They make millions and taxpayers are supposed to foot the bill. Those trucks beat the hell out of the roads and the companies have the equipment to do the job.. I applaud this guy because he cares about his community and we need a whole lot more people like him today.
Why do I get the feeling one of these videos he's going to find a body in one of those culverts out in the sticks? "Oh, here is the problem, it's definitely not beavers!"
Nunna Beeznes He would have to call the police if he found a body and where he is at it would take the police for ever to get there. Like the magnet guys finding guns under bridges.
Your amazing you even have people here in the UK doing what you do and actually telling others your the reason they do it and to go follow you 👏👏❤️❤️❤️
I knew Post 10 would find a way to move that massive blockage, I just didn't know it would entail snakes, leaches, and a dunking as well as eating flies. One of your best ever Post 10. You are an inspiration to a lot of people, but I love it when I see/hear of kids following in your footsteps and learn perseverance and the feeling of a job well done.
The fact that there was enough water to get him soaked and then he drained the whole thing until there are barely any water current. this man is so inspirational
It doesn't have to be that deep to get soaked unless you are one porky fella. Post 10 aint porky at all with the amount of exercise he gets doing this stuff. Easily less than a foot of water (to get soaked) I'd say, much less than some of the beaver dams he's drained before.
full of snakes and leeches... swallow a fly... boulders falling on him... oh well... Post keeps on keeping on. Meanwhile, every inch of my body itches and I have to restrain myself from checking my shoes. Post... you da man.
To all those saying he needs to bring a saw...he said hand clearing without tools is what makes it fun! Of course, the rake is an extension of Post, so it is not a tool. 😄
It's all fun and games, until you wrench your back, tryin to move a log, that's too heavy. If he had a 14" Silky Bigboy, he could have been way more productive, cleared that one and went looking for the next.
Watching these is amazing, just the exposure alone to someone who is so regularly involved with the effects and cycles of water on the earth...guy's a treasure. Wouldn't be surprised if in some sci-fi future his grandkids end up working on the universe's biggest whirlpools - black holes.
Post 36 heads out to his local black hole with nothing but his trusty quantum rake to clear it. His constant battle with the Be’aever, who’s species believe black holes are the great engulfers, is considered the most peaceful conflict in the galaxy, as post 36 does not fight or hate, he understands it is just their way in the universe
@@TotallyNotJiminy haha now i can imagine the Be'aever clogging black holes with destroyed moons and planets and Post36, our galactic saviour, coming to unclog them with a huge rake shaped spaceship
Post10^3: "I'll just remove these dead neutron stars clogging the drain..." (eons later) "...there! only took me 3.6 parsecs. I don't know why the Galaxy Transport Concern doesn't just come thru every couple light-years and do some basic maintenance..."
Hello Post 10, That culvert was really clogged up, but as usual it's not a problem for you and you did a fantastic unclog. I love watching your videos, they are very relaxing...😀👍🇬🇧
I love seeing the different seasons on these logging road videos, your passion to make a difference is enthralling - thanks for taking us with you Post 10 x
fantastic fix!...well done young man. the DoT should get you a used truck with a trailer and a little miniexcavator, and you'd be able to tackle much more big problems like this.
My cousin cleans up culverts too. He uses Silky Saw to cut the branches into manage-able pieces. These pieces then become firewood for home during cold months. You should try using a saw too, Post 10.
I watched your video with the beavers and that guy stayed busy putting debris back in after you got rid of it! I applaud your efforts for trying brother and enjoy your videos! Stay positive and strong brother! Thanks for sharing my friend
I love ur videos! Nothing new and new winning really... Just pure practical and educational videos, that shows how real life is! Keep up the good work! More will notice! I'm sure 👍
I've been watching through your older videos. Your presentation has dramatically improved, Post 10. Your running narration is fantastic, and you can hear the smile in your voice. Another excellent video. And moose!
Another, this one not backward soaking not caught on camera...dang. POST 10 is living proof that when at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Love this guy.
Could see the look of success when you moved that huge branch!! You always explain what's going on and I have learned a lot!! Thank for it! Now I want to go clean up culverts in my area. 😎
You should carry a come along to remove the heavy branches. You can’t always remove by hand. If your so dedicated to removing the blockage. Just a suggestion.
There is something about seeing a thing begin to flow freely. It is putting ones own hand to make things better for others. Self esteem must improve. Good job!
I would like to tell you something I've been watching a lot of the people unclogged coverts they don't do it as good as you and this is why I subscribe to your channel you do it right the 1st time and yet They don't hold a candle to your you're on clogging covers so I'm sticking with you I'm sorry you're stuck with me GB out 👍👍👍
That was a very impressive culvert clearance, I knew you would get that log out in the end, you have that determination. At least it was a warm sunny day and you got to dry off quickly. This was a great and interesting video, thank you for bringing this to the people.
If the woods are not too dry and fire prone, fire can be helpful. Once you know it isn’t plastic culvert, try lighting the clogs. You won’t burn everything because of the water, but burning the pile just might destroy some of the “structure” so next water can push stuff through. Besides burning destroys the stick so they don’t simply wash back into drain.
Just out of curiosity.. why dont you take something like a small handsaw or hacksaw to help you break down the bigger/heavier branches and things to save you time, effort and the haulage? You do a great job, its really interesting to watch you clearing them out :)
@@Joserocha-wm9de Even a smallish, battery-powered chainsaw (like the one waiting at Lowe's for me to pick up) would be optimum, but he said he doesn't like to use tools. I believe snakes and leeches take the fun out of unclogging drains more than a 24V Kobalt chainsaw ever could.
I went 4 wheeling once out on logging roads when we were up visiting family in New Hampshire. I couldn’t believe how remote some of those areas are. Some of the most beautiful country I’ve ever seen.
Just wondering if you ever get worried about hurting yourself or getting stung or bitten by an animal? You just have so much passion at what you do 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hey man! Been watching almost all of your drain videos the last couple of weeks. Thank you! Two quick things though, they have mini battery chainsaws out there that could make the bigger things safer and quicker. The other is I popped my knee out once pretty bad in my late 20s pulling back on a tricky surface so just saying. Keep bekng awesome though! (If you need some help with the mini saw let me know.)
Hello from Oklahoma! Good video!I carry a long piece of mule tape and a pulley. You can pull some pretty heavy loads with that set up. Fun to watch! God Bless!
I'm just sitting here thinking "twist it out of the way".... 10 minutes in Post goes "I'll give it one more try" and twists it out of the way with relative ease. The culvert gets so happy it start giving Post rocks to play with.
Most people could find a way to do this work if we really wanted to, but we're just lazy. He finds it fun. But maybe there's stuff he's "too lazy" to do that we find fun. Probably not as useful though! 🤣
post10, thank goodness there are people like you. I don't mind cleaning a clog, but you couldn't chases me into that pipe with a stick; hats off to you sir job well done.
