Just make sure it’s the same one. The Works makes different types and not all remove the rust. Good luck!

You guys, ANY natural stone is porous and must be cleaned with a non acidic cleanser or you risk damaging your tile. Please make sure the cleaners you use say for natural stone and non acidic on the packaging!!! It's very expensive to have your tile rehonned and sealed once it's damaged. Some damage may require replacement of your tile.

Upon reviewing this item via her item link, I read the item description which states that this product is acid free.

Yup you will be replacing that tile and waterproofing soon products like this destroy the tile and will work it’s way through the stone thus undermining the substrate. Your shower membrane will leak and destroy everything underneath 😉

Yes, I can see that repeated use on a delicate stone could cause issues over time, but I am happy with the results.

I have used this for years for cleaning grout. One tip: be sure that no other cleaner residue is on the surface before using! Even a small amount of bleach residue mixed with this product is caustic! I always wear a mask when using this!

Is this toilet bowl cleaner? On stone?
@HappyHauteHome
@HappyHauteHome Год назад
Yes it is. The cleaner is very strong and did leave etching marks on the stone so if that is a concern for you don't use it. It can remove the stone's polish.

@@HappyHauteHome there are better rust removers. The etching will show up later when it needs to be cleaned again. Use a high alkaline stone cleaner and a rotating brush on a drill and achieve the same results without damaging the stone. A RU-vid search on cleaning travertine will give some great resources. I only said something because videos like this show damaging stone techniques that I have to hone out when clients call me to fix them.
