With the boat on my farm, best to get everything done right before it is back on the coast and I have marina fees. Thanks for the compliment and for watching.
This is an amazing restoration, I'm currently in the process of saving up for a Westsail 32. This has been an inspiration to me. Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks. There are some available, but a refit is time intensive, but the costs are reasonable. I’m preferring to fix everything, but there is the whole, minimal work go-now crowd.
That's some spaghetti of tubes and wiring in there! But, with your attitude this is going to be one seaworthy boat! I'm really enjoying your journey. Hard to imagine how you balance work on the farm and doing this. Some people enjoy hardship!
I would sand or ice blast the hull, you will have a lot better chance to get a hull in a lot better shape. And you can better repair the damage from osomoses spots. and other small damage. If you do it like the way you do the other jobs it will pay you off.
I'll look into that. Sodablasting did a great job. I've repaired all of small cracks in the glass. Only one small blister with not even a Tbsp of water. All in all, it is looking solid after being tossed around a marsh after a hurricane.
