My wife doesn't understand how I can sit and "watch a man dig holes", as she describes it, for hour after hour. I keep telling her there's more to it than digging a hole. You really are a master craftsman with an amazing vision and a great sense of special awareness. Thank you for your hard work on the plant equipment and at the PC to bring us these videos. Looking forward to tomorrow now. 😁
When the right hand knows what the left hand is doing you get alot done. It's not that Brian was doing a bad job but he has never worked with Chris. Chris and Robert have worked together so they are firing on all cylinders and getting after it go team.
You & Robert work so well together, it's a joy to watch. I was surprised to see how much Brian's pond rose overnight. That speaks well for keeping the lake full. Nice job, Chris. Thanks for sharing.
@BrushCommando loving watching your videos. It's like a behind the scenes to Chris' content. Looking forward to watching along after the job is done and it fills up.
I think I would have not built the temporary dam, but would have dug a ditch from the head of the pond to the busted dam and let everything dry out. Then I'd grade the pond and then build the new dam. Chris is one of very few than can turn a sow's ear into a silk purse. It will be beautiful this time next year.
Love it when you have Robert working with you, things move along fast and it saves your legs jumping in and out of equipment and no need to constantly tell him what to do ...
Good progress on the dam in this video, helps to have a 2nd person on site that’s as capable as Robert is, he seems to be willing to do anything he can to help out, that goes along way towards making good progress. The dam is looking better everyday, closer to the slick phase, thanks for the update, this is a good series to be watching.😊
Speaking of change of season I will never forget that one night you and the crew went on a snow removal mission at some warehouse. Not really North Carolina kind of weather. Ten thousand thumbs up Chris!
Looking good Chris and Robert, good job guys! Thanks for sharing and as always we’ll be sending prayers and support for you and your families! Take care and get some rest!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻💯💯💯
It's impressive to watch you move pieces of concrete ever so delicately. You have so much experience with your hands and fingers that you do wonders with an excavator. Nice job Chris!!
I love it when you have Robert working alongside you. He’s the Mr No Drama, just quietly getting on with what needs to be done . As far as being a top class machine operator, the guy is a living legend, as far being a top class work buddy, then there really is no better a man…He’s your wingman Chris. I would never want to go into battle without Robert by my side. Please pass my respects onto him for me. 👍👍
Y’all moved a lot of dirt, made a difference on the dam for sure, gonna be a nice looking pond once you get it to where you want it to be.wonder what the homeowners think of their new view out the back of their homes.great job, good video as always, nice to see Robert helping big brother out.be safe.carry on.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Robert has an every day job. Working with Chris is a "When I need you" job. Chris likes to do most things on his own it seems. That most of the reason Tim moved on. Not 3nough seat time to get more experience.
The most challenging jobs Chris, are the rewarding at the end of the day, not cashwise maybe but rising to the challenge and getting a good result at the end. Job you will remember 😊😊
From Day to Day is the Size from this Projekt more to see. That You with one Helper this all make, to Demonstrante what a Perfect Planing to make out. The Alternation from this Country is already to this Time to see. I can the Finaly Day bearly to Expect. Thanks for the Excellent Videos. 👌👍
Hi Robert. Keeps looking like a Pond Master Special Chris. I was wondering if you were going to put the concrete slab under the pipe as Robert was standing on it.
I know that's driving ya crazy Chris, trying to figure out where you can get a lot more loads of clay !! If my guess is right, your done with this one ,or right at it !! And found everything ya needed to finish it on up !! Sucks though , that the hillside went dry as fast as it did, when you was counting on it to have most of what you did need !! Normally your guesstamation is right on , when ya dig test holes to find your dirt on a jobsite, this one lied to ya !! lolol... But, it is coming on up, and looking good so far, Alright Man, Great as Always !! Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !! Talking about some Cold Weather coming in, a nice Cold Front blew in here in Western Ky yesterday. And supposed to get down into the 30's for the first time this fall here tonight , I think ?? you guys may be getting in on it ?? Alright then... Have a Good one...
Good 👍 to see Robert to ( hello bud) Chris Roberts all helper yep pond dam definitely taking shape great video again thanks late Monday evening UK time
I sometimes wonder if all the ponds they have in Chris's area are not really 'ponds', but rather they are slow acting silt traps. Seems like eventually all these man made ponds fill up with solids and need to be dredged out.
Wondering were the shoreline will be on the pond you opened the dam on once everything fills. Is the drain box set such that it is about where it was before in that other pond? I don't recall discussion about the water level around the now bigger pond (away from the dam). Maybe I missed it... Looking forward to seeing it filled. Thanks for sharing what you do.
This might sound dumb but you should char them mats. By that I mean take a weed burner and char them good. Try it with one and see if it helps them to last. I am old we used to toss fence posts into a fire and burn the ends good. It keeps them from rotting by not sucking up water.
If that thirty six inch pipe gets full and full flow, that lower pond is going to go. That said I would still put in spillways at both ends of this new dam. That bank sand holds water fine but nothing erodes faster than bank sand.
A lot of work, and perfectly executed. I was wondering, in the past you frequently worked for/with your uncle John. It is a very long time ago since I saw him. Is there a reason for that?
Balanced content I'd say ,tell you what , watching others using equipment is sometimes a struggle because Letsdig18 and Dirt Perfect are the benchmarks to compare with .
