In this second video, Kevin Dodds from the New South Wales Department of Primary industries, at the Batlow planar cordon apple demonstration block for the Narrow Orchard Systems project, looks at selecting shoots to establish the first two main leaders for the cordon which will eventually be eight leader trees.
