Okay, so, this was supposed to be a Harry and Remus video because Prisoner of Azkaban is my aboslute favorite of the movies and one of the reasons why has always been the bond that the two of them shared in Harry's third year. It's no secret anymore that Remus is my fav and I wanted to play around with scenes from the actual movies and try to put Andrew!Remus and original Harry in different situations. Originally, I wanted to shine a light more on Remus' struggles about how him being a werwolf was the reason he wasn't able to care for Harry when James and Lily died and Sirius got imprisoned into Azkaban. I think a little bit of that still shows in the final result, but when I made the scene at the beginning, where Harry tells Remus why he didn't die that fateful night in 1981, I realised I had to go a completely different route.
I always had a weak spot for Lily and Remus because these two seem so effortless to me. In my mind they weren't friends from the beginning, but when they did get to know each other they realised how much they understood each other and how they were able to just be together. I think they are much alike, maybe even soulmates. When Lily found out Remus was a werwolf, she didn't hesitate to support and help her friend. And Remus needed that support. Of course he had the other Marauders to guide him through the full moons, but I'm sure he couldn't always share the emotional turmoil that came with being a werwolf with the guys. In my mind, Lily was the one that really listened to him, and he trusted her more than anyone. That's why I decided to make this more of an "Harry reminds Remus of his friend Lily" kind of video. I put James in it too, because they were best friends as well and we don't have enough James/Remus content in this fandom.
I hope you guys enjoy this one! I'm not particuarly proud of it, but I enjoy it and am happy I was able to finish it.
